All of the scrap yard elevators have been broken since the release of 3.24 so, no. It's NOT still possible to sell illegal cargo in 3.24, as far as I know. You can take some drugs to other terminals like CRU-L4, but I've found nowhere that will take Gasping Weevil eggs. As it's been weeks since release and they don't have these very vital elevators fixed, I'm beginning to wonder if it's on purpose. Top tier Vaughn missions yield reliably at least 20 - 50 SCU of eggs for each mission. I think they are hoping to keep people from gravitating entirely to that game loop by depriving us of the ability to sell the eggs. Then, once they decide to fix the elevators, all of our precious eggs that we are hoarding in our personal warehouses will casually disappear with a soft wipe of the server. Then, I'd bet my Corsair on it, suddenly the drop rate of eggs from Vaughn missions will be nerfed.
Is it just me or are there a lot of oberdities. * missles can be dodged * missles can be shot down * missles can easily be flared * larger missles (or torpedos) travel so slow that you may see a 1% hit rate. This is why missles miss so often.
I found a Golden Ticket and redeemed it at the Rental kiosk about 3 hours before 3.24 dropped. Nothing showed up at RSI. I found another yesterday in 3.24 and redeemed it at the Rental kiosk again. Still nothing at RSI.
so this is bullshit, making 4m an hour, how many hours did it take to get to elite rep? 60/70 hours? so that is 60 hours, plus your 1, so it took you 61 hours to make 4 m. yep, won't be following your bullshit idea
Great video as always Fusion very helpful for anyone new to SC and looking to do bounties using missiles! Thanks for your efforts keep them coming awesome job 👍🏻🍻 (just a quick note your discord link 🔗 is not working was hoping to join) 😊
There are generally two warhead types of missile for each tracking type. Strike and Proximity, the difference between these are also quite important. Strike acts like an IRL torpedo, and Proximity is more like a depth charge. Use Strike when shields are down, Proximity otherwise. Personally i just run the Vanduul infrareds all the time as targets you want to hit are generally bigger ships anyway so emissions aren't as important. Smaller, faster, ships, aren't worth using missiles against.
You mean, how to use a missles in Star Citizen! Meaning, CIG have no idea how missles work. And I wish, they would get rid of those annoying diamonds....
Hmm, are you sure you got the types right? AFAIK, cross-section is not just visual, but also radar cross-section, so for radar echoes. And EM is for electromagnetic radiation emanating from the ship's components, not for radar echoes, as you implied in the vid.
You’d be correct, currently the only real visual aspect to CS locking supposedly (I say supposedly because I’ve never seen a real difference with the current/previous radar, but is how it’s supposed to work) depends on what angle you’re viewing the target from. So the best example would be the Eclipse where if you view it from the front, back, or sides in theory it would be significantly harder to pick up on radar and keep a missile lock versus the top or bottom that has bigger surface area (CS). And then EM and IR are just purely emissions from ship components.
@@djbetky Yes, but physically, unless the ship has stealth coating for radar frequency bands, there is no real difference between image cross-section and radar echo cross-section, because both work with EM waves reflected from the surface. So in other words, if you view most ships from the side, they will have **both** image *and* radar crossections larger than when viewed from the top.
2024 September, headshots with musket is so rare, so how Keenly Jagged is still good for musket? Would you update the bist musket again plz with upcoming October patch of NW:A? ty
there isn't a magical setting or way to hit with missiles all the time. It is server dependent. EM missiles can't be flared if the server is bad, that is why in AC they can be - 30FPS servers in AC.
It's not only server dependent (that is actually the minor factor here) but mainly dependent on a chance coefficient set by CIG. For example, 0.5 would mean you have a 50% chance to hit. It is definitely not 100%. And BTW, that's how it it is in real world, too. Homing missiles often fail to hit for various reasons. So the simulation is authentic and correct with such a coefficient.
This ship is broken, wing's gimbals can't target upper half of the screen. Upper turret can't target lower half of the screen. To see it switch to manual gimbals (G) and shoot toward up or down. There is such a gap between trajectories of upper and lower guns - s2 ship can fit. Without gimbals F8C is too much slow, can fight only cargo ships. Looks like it always was this way, but with auto gimbals before 3.23 it wasn't so obvious to see. 13:04 It's not noticeable here because you're not using gimbals. With slow Pve targets like these Valks it is ok, but even HRT fighters in asteroids or Pirate swarm in AC will show the problem.
By default right mouse click cycles which type of missile you have selected. If you have different sizes of missiles on your ship then you will mess that up so be careful when adjusting keybinds.
I was doing these missions last night at elite assassin level. 3 problems. Of the 3 missions that I did, I never saw a C2 or a caterpillar. The groups of ships consisted of Connies, Corsairs and other light fighters, mostly empty. They are all moving around like fish swimming in a school so it's impossible to shoot the guns off. No one had weevil eggs, just Altruciatoxin. This may have been nerfed... at least at the elite assassin level.
You're absolutely right! I just checked the stats and you're spot on. I had no idea about the S3 Quarreler's health advantage. I learned something new today. Thanks! 💪
Does powerplant or cooler need to be replaced? As long as you have enough power for systems, upgrading it is not very useful. Unless the stock powerplant has a very low hp. I have seen no difference with using one cooler over another. Full ballistic loadout is no longer a good idea. Shields now reduce ballistic dmg by up to 50% You need to run a mixed loadout or you are wasting a lot of ballistic ammo.
from what I've tested and heard, Attrition guns shows "wrong" value on calculators,(nom/max heat damage) these laser repeaters deal more damage the hotter they are. so you'd prefer to keep these at 80-95% heatsoak this is almost impossible without large capacitors. (turrets) and certain sizes I do not get heatsoak in..
It's because the Attrition have a very slow projectile speed. So for any pvp, it's easy to avoid. But regardless, Quaraller are better than omnisky for size 3
The Omnisky has a lower spread than Attritions. This means that its shots are more likely to hit a target than Attritions shots. Attritions have a spread of 0.5 - 0.5 and Omnisky has a spread of 0.45 - 0.45. Spread is the degree to which a weapon's shots deviate from a perfectly straight line. The higher the spread, the more likely you are to miss a few shots.
You recognize your firing the arrow missiles when closer than their minimum lock range? (That flashing Too Close indicator?). The range for those missiles is 1-10km. You’re engaging at like 200-400 meters.
The balance of the components are weird at the moment. Not all military components are better than the rest. I think this will be fixed in the future tho
@@FusionThunder man i bought military grade stuff for my taurus and after that ships computer sounds alarm about everything overheating and qt drive starts charging but after 5 sec it shuts down. I tried destroying the ship and claiming it at another station. Nothing works 🤣 I ende up flying some of my other ships.
The advantage Military has at the moment is a higher HP pool on the component itself, and more resistance to distortion damage. If either of those things become important when doing PvE bounties then you are doing it wrong.
Might want to emphasize the power triangle on the dash a little more. I went straight into battle after copying this build and it took like 4 shots to kill me it felt like lol
I love dummies like you who get people into full fixed loadouts so when they are up against me or my friends they just get dominated and cant keep guns on target as long as we can.
With four MSD-481 missile racks you end up with 32, size one missiles, but I thought there's a way to have 40, size ones on a Cutlass black? Why not have 16 (or more) size 2 "Rattlers" (7 mini missiles each)? At 15:11; Oops, I thought it maxed out at 40 size ones, but I see it's at 48 size ones... even better, though I wonder about using "Rattlers (112 mini missiles, maybe more)"? ;-)
...yes but no... the rattlers often get buggy when you dismantle/sell them and clog up your inventory of mini rockets, so as far as I'm concerned until they are fixed, in my opinion, it's not worth using them. I personally use 48 taskforce.
I did some cargo with the caterpillar and it is completely not worth the time to manually load your ship not only is it time-consuming, but it’s super frustrating and annoying with how janky the process is, it’s super annoying that the auto loading and buying process is a bit weird as well when I try to load ships then auto there’s an issue that says something about price mismatch, when I try to auto load, there’s an issue with time and it will only load the bigger cargo and not the smaller cargo it’s a mess
@@FusionThunder I had a complete nightmare yesterday I loaded up my caterpillar with one SCU’s, which is 576. I was able to auto load, but I couldn’t auto sell and I had to end up, offloading it all by hand. I ended up paying someone 40 K to help me unload. We even had a server crash once and had to rearrange everything that we had on the freight elevator.
I tested the arrow size 1 missiles and they sometimes completely mis their target for some reason. It might have been server lag or might even be a bug. - in the video I use arrow missiles
@@FusionThunder Thanks. Today I learned 2 things: Auto Unload doesn't seem to work sometimes (or at all?) and if you sell it at TDD, choose manually unload and don't unload everything at once, you loose what you have unloaded :). So always unload to local inventory and then sell it to TDD... Maybe they fix it till next patch and give me the 480SCU hephastenite back :/. Hauling Missions are fun though. I wonder how high the payments get on the top ranks.
