We are Keith and Micki, we moved to north central Arkansas a year and a half ago from Washington state. We fell in love with the area on a visit here, it was exactly what we had been talking about, somewhere we could slow down and be more self-efficient. It was our fate that a once in a lifetime opportunity was presented to us and we ended up buying our little patch of dirt to build our forever home on, so we got home and got our plan in play. We sold our home, packed everything that we had into a 26-foot U-Haul truck and hit the road only a few months after buying our land. We are a year into our house build and loving it here, so many like-minded people have shared their stories and journeys with us, we thought we would share ours with you.

You make it look so easy but I know from experience it is a itchy pain in the behind putting up insulation. But on a good note it means there is a light at the end of the tunnel
