Installation of PEX-A in our DIY home build. Did not go as planned, but we are rolling with the punches. We are pushing through the setbacks and moving forward. Thank you for following along with this crazy house build.
Absolutely Keith, don't blame you one bit! Fix that stuff right now while you are in the building phase instead of the finished and living in stage! Love you guys! God bless you both and stay safe! Hope to see y'all soon.
Man that really sucks but I guess that’s part of it. I was thinking about those plastic containers and felt the same way no faith in them. I told my wife that I was gonna hose clamp all of ours when I get to the plumbing in our renovation. Keep on keep’n on. 👍🏻
Great attitude, gotta do what you gotta do if it’s not working. 😊. Sounds like you’re a no attention kinda guy, but really glad to see you on here and seemingly good ! ✌🏼❤️🙏👍😊
Did you rotate the tool? It's not recommended that you just expand it 5 or 6 times in the same exact place or you will create a leak path. The Dewalt and Milwaukee tools auto-rotate and there is at least one manual tool that also does that. Since you have the tool you may want to test that on a piece of tubing since it's just a matter of technique and you have the tool/fittings for the future.
@@BUILDINGwithKEITH-N-MICKI Thank you for the update. I was concerned the manual tool wouldn't work properly and bought a Dewalt. I'm not a plumber and only have one house to plumb. I wanted to buy the manual tool because in 20 years it would still work but the power tool would be dead.
