Hi Angela. No. You can't scan passports with an iX1600. For more information, check out my video on how to scan passports. Here is the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0jNaW2D30eo.htmlsi=Dn3NgEocLf6hIl4R
I just had a spontaneous pneumothorax and was discharged a week ago. I did notice I have had a dry cough these last fee days but no chest pain besides where they had the chest tube. I was wondering if you experienced coughing in the weeks after it happened and if so how long did last?
They say not to use light monitor and that the pivot is too strong for it. That Dell is a lightweighter, so the question is, how was the tilt? Are you using the HD pivot or the ordinary?
At the beginning of this fantastic video you encouraged viewers to submit any questions we might have and I've noticed that out of 294 comments there aren't a lot of questions posed; that is a testament to how amazing this video really is. I'm going to implement your system and am confident that my family business (containing 50 years of documentation!) is going to lose A LOT of clutter in short order. Thank you so much for sharing this life-changing information!
hello. how do i change the source type (for letters - letterwise..) without changing the source for all the rest of text, on notepad?.. i try to select only the phrase(-s) i want it changed, but it ends up changing the source for the whole text instead..
Nice video and informative on installing the scan snap scanners. The only problem I see with this install is you don't show how to use the Scansnap software with more than 1 onputer at a time. I made the mistake of purchasing a Scansnap ix500 scanner several years ago only to find out that it will ONLY work with 1 computer, and that the WIFI can only work with that single computer and iphones with the scansnap app. I was hoping by now that Richo could have made a scanner that could work with more than one computer but it appears that they dont understand that a lot of people have both a desktop copmuter and a laptop. Maybe Richo feels that making a scanner that works with multiple computers means less sales. After all if a scanner can only work on a single computer then they can try to sess scanners for every computer. I find it crazy that they amke a scanner work with WIFI but make sure that that WIFI has to only be on a single computer. When I tried on my ix500 scanner to use it with my laptop I had to put the USB cable on the laptop and when I installed the scansnap software on the laptop, it would NO longer work with the Desktop since it was now synced to the laptop and not the Desktop. My recommendation for people wanting to buy the Richo scanner is to know that it will only work with one computer. If a friend is visiting u and has a laptop and want s to scan something it will not work without making the current computer unusable without reinstalling the software on the computer again. I hope that Richo can get thier act togeather and realize that a lot of people do not wan tthier scanners since they only work with a single aomcputer and thus the WIFI is prectically useless, you might as well just attach a USB cable and be done with it.
9:11 thank you for all your videos. Your presentations are excellent. Would you be able to make one that explains the value of using Adobe Pro and how to use it with Scansnap?
I hear you but I don't think so given the use case I am suggesting. This power bar is ETL certified so it has been tested and certified to meet fire safety standards. I have been using this power bar for a long time in two different offices and have had no problems. It is always cool to the touch, and I don't see it as being a fire safety concern. It's true that overloading a power bar can create a fire hazard because it can cause the power bar to draw more current than it is designed to handle, which will generate excess current and thereby generate heat, which could build up within the power bar and its wiring to the point of causing plastic casing and insulation to melt, potentially igniting and starting a fire; however, I don't think that is a concern with this power bar, unless a person is doing something foolish like overloading it with 22 high-wattage devices, like if a person was using 22 hair dryers on it.
If you think I'm wrong, please let me know. I respect your opinion and appreciate the dialogue. Have you had something like this (a house fire) happen before?
@@SeanDillman I'm not an electrician, but I am an electrical engineer and I can tell you with certainty that this device will overload practically every circuit breaker in any average home in the world, and that's if it doesn't start an electrical fire first. There is no way the main on that device could safely support every outlet being used to maximum capacity, let alone standard capacity, and that goes without mentioning that no standard household outlet could support such a current. It's wildly irresponsible that this product exists, but to add insult to injury someone is doing reviews on it seemingly without any proper research on the product's safety. And no, I shouldn't need to have experienced a house fire to have valid input on this
@@SeanDillman also, besides the fact you're clearly underestimating how foolish end users are, that's regardless of the point that the manufacturer has a responsibility to make a product that can safely maximize the use of all outlets. You will NEVER find a reputable surge protector with this many outlets because those companies are being responsible and making foolproof products. For example, and this is NOT and ad, but take APC or cyber power, any of their surge protectors are rigorously tested and can actually maximize using every outlet safely
That's fair. I wasn't suggesting that you need experience having a house fire to have a valid point on this. That would be absurd. Certainly a doctor doesn't need to have cancer to treat cancer patients. If you say you're an electrical engineer, that's awesome and good enough for me. I can tell you that I also have a related background. I completed a diploma in computer engineering technology which had two electrical courses and courses on computer circuitry including designing and powering circuit boards. I wonder if is perhaps wrong to assume that a person will use every single outlet simultaneously. I am using the device right now as I type this text. My lights are not on and I am not using either of my cameras. Although there is charge going to those devices, they are not currently in use and are not currently drawing any significant current. I see your point though that some people many indeed overload it and use all 22-outlets at once (though I would hope people would be smart enough to not do this and read the precautions contained in the manual). Looking at it another way, from Amazon it appears that the company has sold tens of thousands of these units. It seems to me that if it was irresponsible for the product to exist, Trond would already have been sued into bankruptcy by dissatisfied customers who used the power bar, only to have it burn their homes down (unless that is perhaps something that is around the corner). Before making this review, I did research the product's safety. It seems fine to me. As I mentioned, it is ETL certified. More generally, by making reviews, I don't provide guarantees of complete safety. Anything I have reviewed could be dangerous if not used correctly (as unlikely as it may seem, people could theoretically choke on AG1 powder or impale themselves on monitor mounts). I leave it up to my viewers, for the most part, to look out for their own safety, though I do make safety warnings in some videos where I feel it is appropriate; however, I hear your point , which is that dangerous things should not be promoted without any mention that they are dangerous (and I agree), and I acknowledge that I did not really mention in my video that people should beware not to overload the power bar, but, as I have mentioned, those warnings are included in the welcome guide that comes with the product (there is a section about safety precautions). Given that I did not make such a warning, I have added a section in the video details called 'Warning' which says "Overloading this power bar can cause a fire. Follow the instructions provided with the product to ensure safe use. 🔥" Please take a look. If you're interested, I can add "Thank you to @speedracer9132 for suggesting that this warning be added." I take this seriously and certainly don't want people to use this product and have fires start. That would be awful. I appreciate you making these points. If you have anything else to say about it, I'm all ears. As I said, I respect your opinion and appreciate the dialogue. 🕊
Hi Elleen. No it is not. But you can scan passports with the iX1300 or fi-8170. If you'd like to see a video on that, check out my video "📘 How to Scan Passports 📈Easy Walkthrough" ▶ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0jNaW2D30eo.htmlsi=xxgcdZ1nWTZCSF3U

I’m trying to scan directly to Evernote. I’ve tried everything I know now to get that to work and it’s not working. Any tips. I’d really appreciate your help since their documentation is very confusing and not that intuitive.
Thank you very much for sharing this video. My brother in law was diagnosed with this from broken ribs. The condition was not described to us as a collapsed lung, which is critically serious!!
Hi there. As I mention in the video, I do this for purposes of redundancy. I'm a lawyer by profession, and one can never know precisely when a document may be needed in the future, so to err on the side of caution, I keep my documents for a certain period of time (usually about 7 years which is the longest period of time suggested by the Internal Revenue Service, and a safe period of time). If you find that you absolutely know that you will not need a document after you have scanned it, you may feel comfortable in discarding it immediately; however, if you are at all uncertain, I would recommend holding onto it for a while. 😊👍
Thank you for the reply and explanation. I remember you mentioned the 7 years (seemed like that was tax related) but I missed the rest of what you referenced in your reply. Thanks again. It was very helpful.
It doesn't taste bad. The effect is really quick first thing in the morning. I do feel better. Price is high but so is everything else. For a few months I was making my own veggie blend. This is also pricey . And messy. Interesting enough with AG1 the morning wood factor has increased. At 62 we can live with it.
I hear you and totally agree. I don't mind the taste at all and it take out the guesswork and makes it much easier than making ones own blend. It's true that it's pricey, but it's difficult to put a price tag on health. 😊👍
I'm sorry to hear that Dan. It is definitely not a fun experience. Be sure to check out my one year after video if you haven't already. It may give you more of an idea of what your girlfriend can expect. 💗
I'm sorry to hear that. Did you get a warranty claim started before it expired? Maybe there is something you can do with Brother or maybe you can take it back to where you purchased it if you still have the receipt?
You are most welcome Marie. Please let me know if you think that you may benefit from personal tutoring/training sessions. I work with many different lawyers across the country to help them with one-on-one support. 😊👍
