There’s just to much going on, over consumption of content before throughout the week before kicks off, atleast the case on my end. By the time the game comes up I barely the 90 minutes get boring.

every league has these problems, but thet are most obvious in the premier league, i mean watch the serie a or bundesliga the passion, the flair and the atmosphere is quiet different from the premier league
It’s more ‘professional’ nowadays. More sanitized. Perhaps seems like the players are less passionate, but maybe that’s rose colored nostalgia glasses? Maybe the schedules have become more bloated, contributing to that. Idk but it does feel different from when I started watching as a youngster in the 2000’s. The massive amounts of money being poured into football are the primary cause. It’s become corporatized

Its a one team league. City will never take there foot off the necks of every other side in that division. Arsenal will bottle it as always. Chelsea and Utd are awful and no real challenge at all and lets not pick on poor old utd. My favourite band might support that comedy show of a club but you cant tell me the EPL isn't a farmers league now. Its predictable and boring like the German or French league. At least Leverkusen made it exciting to watch last season we all know Bayern Munich will more than likely win another title.

What's wrong with aspects of the game being civilized? I don't long for the days of Zidane's headbutt or the harsh fights. I remember seeing it as a child. It was awful. If that's what we call peak football, then were not much different from those who watched gladiators' fights to kill each other. All that's left is to make murder legal. And VAR is good.
