I agree, FS-FlightControl is a solid tool, but it doesn’t fully cover failures and advanced scenario setups, especially for airliners. Hey great video! I know it’s old and I’m sure you would of mentioned it in the video if it was implemented but I’d figured I’d ask, is there any mfd indications or any type of indicator that shows what trim you are at?
@@benjamincarper3140 ya trim can be found on your flight control page under supt menu. But dosnt really matter what the number is for ldg, just matters if the settings is off loading the pressure off the stick

I just ordered one yesterday as my CH Eclipse pots went to....well....pot! lol Should be arriving on Sunday and can hardly wait! Been watching lots of reviews on it though!
My F18 has an annoying alarm when I get under 170 speed and then falls like a rock. When I dog fight I go from 500+ to 70 in a single turn and then fall like a rock. It's so bad that I seriously don't want to play anymore. And yes I have selected Simulation setting. There just isn't speed on this plane. It's as if it's heavier than an aircraft carrier. My brakes are off. My throttle goes to 100 and everything.
I too think for the price of any new game, you get the best sim we can get our hands on. I mean we were paying $40 for Top Gun for NES, and this is only twice that cost. I do worry about the perpetual online connection requirement which could ultimately lead to a total loss of the game someday
After slewing my crosshair to a point of interest it won’t stay where I leave it. When I find a target, I’m unable to laser it etc. as the crosshair moves with my aircraft. Any idea how I make the crosshair stay where I leave it?
High performance in nVidia settings. Not sure about that one. The video card will work as hard as needs to when it needs to. Turning on HP in prefs means it’s working harder than it needs to. I will be looking at project lasso over the next few days. 😎👍🏻

In a swept back wing we don’t use rudder to correct for wind until 10-15 feet area. (We don’t Side slip on short final) however we do use rudder with all aileron input. Aileron right rudder right as well, just like a c172 to counter aileron drag.

Good review Captain. I have a CH Yoke and in the Sim Community people up the pressure by installing heavier springs from the Home Depot, Lowes, or any Hardware. Perhaps a Jerry rig like that could work for pitch and for roll. My CH is great for Cessnas and Beechcrafts but I have this yoke on my list before getting into commercial models or hi-fi freeware like Zibo 737-8. Thanks Captain.
Hey loved the video and I had a quick question. From your experience do you think I'll be able to manage uni and an ATPL program? I'm currrently doing CS fulltime however I will switch to PT next year and hopefully startmy ATPL degree FT at WWFC or BFC. Thanks!
@@T-Tailer tysm for the reply, I realized it would probably be very tough even though I'll probably dedicate less than 12 hours to school a week. I might do self paced or put school on hold for a semester to see the overall workload with the ATPL program.
Great video! Thanks. Note, when you switch views on the Maverick and say, "this is the 1st one" it's actually the 2nd one. When you launch multiple mavs or drop bombs, the 1st one will always arrive last. Any shot after the 1st will be from a closer distance and get there sooner.
