so cool cant wait for this, i actually picked up a decent number of your 1000 series modules but had to sell all of them due to financial hardship. ive been saving up for just a massive, monster CMS system ever since though and I LITERALLY pray every single day that nothing happens to make you have to stop production on these before im able to create the CMS system of my dreams because I have a bad feeling that once it does a lot of these gems may be lost to the ages forever. Having said that, I also wanted to tell you that if you are ever in need of a young man to train and to teach the ways of the ARP to, Im here, ready, and willing. I cant say that Im too terribly technically proficient in analog electronics, and if im being honest im not even a college graduate, but I am EXTREMELY motivated to learn any and everything i can so this technology doesnt go the way of the dinosaurs. I am currently doing my best to teach myself as much electronic/circuit theory and analysis as possible but one can only go so far without a master to teach them and show them the way. I know I really dont sound that promising as far as qualifications go, but one thing I can promise and that I absolutely WILL in every way shape and form, even above what your expecatations may be, can deliver is the ability to pick things up quickly and to problem solve and think in unique and new different ways, and to just learn fast and with passion in general, and I absolutely REFUSE to quit no matter how tough the going may get or how daunting the task at hand may seem or however unattainable the goal or challenge appears. I think you will find that what I lack in formal training and achievements/qualifications I make up for in spades when it comes to sharpness of mind and quickness of wit. I make no claim of being better than anyone else nor am I singling myself out as unique or "smarter" or "superior" in any regard but instead highlighting my more than sufficient brainpower that I know is well suited, tailor made even, for a job such as this. Of course I know you probably dont have like an "opening" or anything lol, but I wanted to put this out there just in case because I know it surely must be a consideeration for you, especially as the years continue to steadily wear down. Im not too sure how we could contact one another but I guess you would probably just respond to this and let me know so Ill just put this here and keep an eye out for a response. I feel almost childish doing this, but I know youre the one man on planet earth that could teach me the secret art of the ARP so theres really no one else to go to. Thanks for reading this if you made it this far, for a man of your stature to do so is the highest honor and I would consider it a GREAT and noteworthy event in my life if you were to do so. and even more so if you would consider me to be your apprentice. Anyway, I hope to hear from you soon, but if I dont, it will not change my opinion of you and your work in the slightest. You sir are one of my heroes, and I thank you for your continuing contribution to the legacy of electronic music and preserving the ARP legacy and name.
That’s insane!!! Wow what a sound. Is that a 2500 module on the left, it looks similar to the sequencer but I don’t know exactly. Wow what a wild huge sound
Your restoration looks gorgeous. The only 2500s that I ever saw before - photos, looked dingy and industrial, with an oxidized front panel and scarred and dull wooden frames, this one though - the shiny panel is beautiful, and the frame looks like fine furniture.
Great Sound! Great view! Great piece of furniture! And a lot of money for those standard sounds. But the feeling must be incredible working on such a beauty!
