I’m on my 6th month with Dreamgirls, and I’ve so much growth. I go to the salon in LA and I think that makes a world of a difference. I don’t neglect my hair. I wash it with the sew in and moisturize it as needed. I can’t see how much growth I have at my 1 year mark
@@brittneyharrell3224 did NOT like the salon. Was there on average for 6/7 hours, service isn’t very personable and leave out area had lot to damage. I didn’t notice growth but Not worth the price & times
@@ericamcclain1203 I had a good bit of growth from the 3xs I went but again you’re in the salon for very long and you have no personal relationship with the stylist. It’s a busy salon. I’d go back but maybe twice a year at most, I didn’t get growth though.
I feel like these products we buy aren't the same they do at the shop yall remember etae. How it was suppose to help with moisture and curl pattern while also being able to do heated styles and go back ....man of man...I should of stopped the at molasses treatment
@@ericamcclain1203 I agree with the conditioner that was great bit the shampoo and the treatment. Made my hair fall off and not allot of products could do that to me I even survied the black vanilla era
I used to use the TGIN product line faithfully, but after coloring my hair it needs way more support. I plan to transition to Wella Elements and see what different that makes in my hair
Girl we have the same hair type I need advice. Do you ever have dry hair periods like. Straw???! What do you use when your hair is really really dry. Cause I cant grow cause i keep breaking
Yes and yes! I'm in a dry period right now and I refuse to touch my hair until I can get professional help 😭. But more than likely the cause is moisture/protein imbalance. Weekly deep conditioning goes a long way!
Everyone please stay away from their products!! It literally is causing me extreme shedding and breakage that i never had till using this product. I have the whole kit and first few months of usage fine but on down the line of using started realizing my hair was shedding a lot lot like enough to make a small wig no joke but thought it was normal and continued to use it 😑 after washing my hair last week shedd so much hair after taking down barely a month old cornrows, literally looked like 3 months of shedding...not only that. I noticed when washing my hair it would literally matt so bad to my scalp and would have to pull it apart which caused more hair breakage but once again thought it was something i didn't do right like didn't maybe detangle enough before i let my hair hit the water but i always make sure i detangle by hand, so i got out the shower from washing my hair and was moving forward with my routine of adding a mostiruzer and letting my hair air. When i ran my hand through my scalp to apply the products my hand literally get stuck in my scalp because majority of my hair had matted to my scalp again. I decided to do research later on and found a few others that had experienced the same thing from these products. And yes i used all products exactly how instructed on their website and the little instruction guide that comes with it. I went in this dream girl journey with a head of healthy thick/long colored hair with intentions of reaching my goal of mid back length hair but instead got brittle and broken hair. I will get my hair bad on track but please everyone stay away from this product no matter how tempting it seems. I've been natural for over 10 years and usually only use all natural products etc and read all ingredients in my hair products but that's definitely in this product that they don't mention...this is deva curl 2.0
It"s gonna be wash day for me and I am not sure which shampoo I want to use. Was planning to try the Dream Girl line today but I don't know if I want to do all those steps today. I feel like my hair texture has changed to no texture as well 🤣
I just subscribed to your channel. Your hair texture seems very similar to mine. I recently purchased those products but haven't used them yet. Based on your post they probably won't be a part of my regular routine cause I, like you, need moisture for my hair.
I was thinking of trying but to be honest, I have been using design essentials and it has caused my hair to be so soft, no need to flat iron. Plus. My hair is making a great come back from extreme damage and breakage. I sweat often, so I have to wash every week. Hair still comes out fine.
Thanks for your honest review. I’ve been contemplating for about 6mths whether to purchase the Dream Girl products. I’m also budget conscious and $125 is a lot for me to spend all at once. I’m going to order it in a couple days.
