I knew that in art and music it was fun to play at will. But some very good compositions can change the future of ages and bring an eternal spring to civilization. My request to you is to fill the flag of Bengali songs with new tunes air. You have both abilities and capabilities that many do not. If I get your permission and kindness I would like to sit face to face and discuss this in detail. Maybe I have a lot for you too. Together for all of us. Thank you 🌻🙏. -- Pratap.
Everything can't and need not be explained. This art form is about exploring and experiencing. Remember, "Jo jaane do bole na, no bole so jaane na".....
Actually, unlike western music, Indian classical music has no concept of harmony. Everyone is singing the same notes (the female singers are singing an octave up).
@@retrorapture4079That can potentially be very subjective but most people I have come across dont consider octaves as harmony since there is essentially just a single melody being played in octaves without any additional intervals to provide consonance (or dissonance) to the melody. Despite that, as someone who has pursued hindustani classical myself (albeit only for a handful of years), I don't think it takes anything away from our music!
