I got the MCP-7N, 7 piece set as a gift. The set has the 8 qt stockpot, 1.5 and 3 qt sauce pans, and 10" frypan. We purchased a 2 qt saucepan separately. We've had them for about 9 or 10 years now, and are very happy with them. We cook with them just about every day. They've held up very well. They still look good. The only issue we have is all of the lid handle rivets have discolored. They started out silver, and are now gray. That leads me to believe they are painted or chromed, not stainless steel.
Hey man! I have not played since 2020 but still have 3 Apocalypse Betas for if/when I return. Racquet tech hasn't changed noticeably in 10+ years, so no reason to upgrade regularly unless you like the new colors, or are breaking frames, in my opinion...
So... Funny.... I had the same dilemma with the current Sports. That is, difficulty changing to 5lb increments. I considered get a pair of 50s in addition to my 90s but the simpler solution really is to get another pair of handles without the adder weights. Ironically, I found an older pair of PowerBlocks for $100 on Craigslist so I have extra handles AND an extra pair of PowerBlocks.
I am having this same dilemma except I went the other route. I already had the personal trainer set that goes from 5-50lb in increments of 5 with the pin. And the usa elites 5-90 in increments of 10. How has the extra unloaded handles been working for you? Do you find it easy to swap the handles? Sometimes I felt the unloaded handles felt unbalanced. Thanks!
I had utilitarian Revere ware pots and pans for 30 years so replacing them with Cuisinart is a step upward for a good price. Tri clad is great and anything costing more would be ridiculous. Not sure what people call life time use as I still have my grandmothers cast iron cook ware making it more than two life times worth. I'll expect the rest of my life will be on Cuisinart without breaking the bank and they cook fantastic. If anything they are heavy but you cant trade even heating with light duty. I'm a fan of Cuisinart now. Have absolutely no use for non stick surfaces that wear off in 5 years while you are eating the material that come off.
No model number or markings whatsoever on the expansions. I think you'll have a very hard time finding these today. Might be worth contacting Powerblock directly to ask for more details.
I have a question about the side-to-side movement. I have a client with guest chairs and needs to be able to mount the arm off-center and move the monitors directly in front of him when he does not have guests. Can you help?
Not sure I understand the question, but I have my bases mounted off-center with one of the monitors directly in front of me. And monitors could pretty easily be pushed out of the way (although the lower profile base without the column might be better for blocking less vision).
I bought my third NSD powerball today, my previous ones I lost , I looked after them and they lasted many years. Being a software developer for over 30 years whenever my fingers started to get needles and pins and I had a powerball nearby and a few sessions would clear the problem up for months, Buy the original, it's worth the price. I never had to go to any doctor with wrist problems and I know a few fellow dev's that needed surgery. In my opinion powerballs should be covered by medical aids because they prevent a lot of problems.
I'm confused which one I should get. The K1C or the K2C. I just wanna be able to hook up my two 27 inch monitors and be able to put them side by side and be able to stack them one above the other. Help please @ultraconsumer.
I bought one all clad frying pan out of curiosity, and I absolutely HATE the handle design. And truth be told, as long as a pan is entirely clad with 3 plys, then they are just as good as all clad, unless of course, the plys aren't as thick.
For my cooking style, I think that's probably true. But America's Test Kitchen did a review and durability test on several sets since I did this review and they found the All-Clad to be, in fact, more durable and less likely to warp or ding than most competition. So if you're hard on your pans, or just want something that might last even longer (although I have no issues with mine, 10 years later, they still look new), then maybe All-Clad is still a good way to go.
I’ve only ever played with Head rackets I live in the uk and the e Force is not none I can only find one shop that sells them which in your option would be a good buy ? And what effect do you get when the ball hits the power boosters Thank u
John e-force in my experience of owning them tend to play a lot heavier than other brands such as head. I play with a radical 160 atm and even a 170 head v an E-Force 170 is quite a lot heavier. You will have more power than the Head racquet yes but it def won't be as maneuverable imo. What head racquet u using at the moment ?
@@johnbulmer5205 my advice to player unsure of their specs in racquetball racquets is to go around 160 mark. Your radical is same as mine. If you want you can add lead tape at different points to alter balance or to keep same even balance point but to increase the weight of the racquet. You can always add weight but can't take it off a racquet you feel might be too heavy. I place as much importance on my string and tension as much as the racquet. Its 50% of the equation so don't neglect that part either
@@johnbulmer5205 it depends on the person John...most in ireland where I am use e force but for me and my game style I prefer a more maneuverable racquet that is light (160 or 155) but head heavy to create stability in the head and generate a bit of power. If you are strong then e force might be ok to you, will depend on your swingspeed. I suggest you look up cliff swain video on racquetball racquets also. He speaks a lot of truth in that video as does this man in this video. Racquetball Warehouse will have specs on all the racquets but I find them to be off sometimes with certain racquets so take that and their balance specs with a pinch of salt. My advice is before you spend money on racquets get some lead tape and experiment. Get a good grip and a good string. They are critical and can often be overlooked. A bad string job and grip can turn a good racquet in to a bad racquet quick.

just came across your review - do you still have these pans? If not how long did they last you and did they warp or rust? How is cleaning them and what level of heat do you cook with?
Yes I do still have them, and no issues with warping or rusting. Usually cook with medium to high heat. And if I were to do it again, I'd probably still recommend these if you wanted to buy an entire set at once, but I'd also suggest buying each piece individually so you're not paying for stuff you don't need. For me, the saute pan, 10" skillet, and stock pot would be the ones I'd start with. And I'd probably lean towards All-Clads now, because I trust the America's Test Kitchen review, like that they're American-made, and come with a better warranty.
Who knew that ten years later that Powerblock’s would be like gold to any gym enthusiast dying to get their hands on something while gyms are shutdown due to Covid.
I always put it under flowing water in the sink with liquid soap in the canister. After cleaning and you will see a lot of dirt coming from the canister you then take a towel and dry and shake the canister to get as much of the water out of it, then let the unit sit in sunlight for a while till dry. Just make sure that where the power plugs into the canister that you blow dry it. I do this for all the parts except for the main power unit. (stupid if you do that one) and have had not an issue in over 5 years. My Dyson is way out of warranty so I don't care about getting the parts wet (but they are clean).
I ended up moving and getting a V8 Absolute which has been much better in the new house. There are still weaknesses, but the attachments have improved (I love the fluffy attachment) and the price has come down a bit (I think I paid 250). Thanks for the tip!
Hi Khuram, they are still in great shape! I don't use them that frequently (I'm definitely not an every day cook), and when I do I'm always careful to use non-scratching utensils and clean them thoroughly after use. They look and work great still!
*Totally in love with this bag◓◓>**imgs.love/Tk2Bag?Ҍ** Looks and feels great. Two water bottle holders on the inside with plenty of space left over for my orders. At some point I'll probably have to upgrade to large but that's cool. Fabric and feel is great. Really sporty, looks good.*
This test is terrible. You are treating the other 2 the same way you treat the shitty shamwow. A leather Chamois is not supposed to be used like this. It is like saying a NY strip steak is no good because it doesn't taste like a hamburger. If you think water absorption is the thing, then use a genuine ocean sponge. A genuine real sponge (from a living creature, not "sponge" like you do the dishes with), will absorb way more water per weight than a shamwow or really just about any other towel type things.
It's been a long time, but the chamois also left more streaks and debris, and was harder to use due to the crunchiness after not being used for a while. I've long since thrown it away. How is it supposed to be used where I'd have avoided all the downsides?
A genuine leather chamois is not supposed to be used wet, nor does it claim to uselessly absorb water. What they are really good for is not streaking your car when you dry it.
So it doesn't absorb as much water, but it still gets wet when drying something -- then what? Over time it dries back out and becomes a crunchy mess, so it's not pliable until you re-wet it, at which point it's leaving behind leather fibers and streaks again. I'm confused as to the "correct" way to use a chamois, I guess.
Was interesting watching the edits, marked by the time on the stove. ;) Nonetheless I really appreciate the time you took to review this as it helped me get a better understand of what to purchase. Thanks!
Hey thanks for a great review. Found this and was looking for more recent and stumble into this one. Quickly realized it's your video mirrored.
