As you grow in life, you learn more about the people in it you may have as 'Family'. From the Alcoholic Father, ..to the Materialistic/self absorbed Mother, and the Brother who sexually molested you for years. Thank God as you age, the friends you acquire eventually become the 'Family' you've chosen. God Bless!

I've always pronounced it Wynette, pronouncing it Wynette is a southern thing, I was thinking of moving to Memphis and making it big in Music but I never went through with it, one Elvis is enough in this world I thought, Poor old Tammy went downhill pretty quick not long after this, she looked 85 at 55 at the end, she lives on through the music.

@@MeadeSkeltonMusic I was just joking around, somehow I came across her vids watching Jerry lee lewis vids, I don't remember making this comment but what I meant was I pronounce it Wynette not Wynette like many others, hope that's helpful.

I was just joking around again, Why- nette, not sure what right, I pronounce Elvis' surname Prezley, but many pronounce it Pressly, tomato, tomato, potato, potato

She is wrong, either this was December 1956 and he had had 5 #1 single hits and 2 #1 albums (not a couple of hits), when she says she heard them rehearse at the second floor, or this was in 1955, but at any rate this could not be Christmas 1957, as he had already moved to Graceland.

I was#1 on my red & white Basketball suit. I made 22 points the last Tournament in 1958. I was a forward also. About 3' from center line I could sink the ball into the 🥅 goal. Her life & mine was similar except I was married for 50 year's to a City Guy _ I was a country Girl from an Arkansas FARM. Interesting to her her to tells her Story. I was only 5'2" tall. I think Tammy was taller than I.

I really liked Basketball. I was a forward also. My last Game was a Tournament. I made 22 points that night. We lost by 1 point. Never forget it. I was only 5'2" tall & FAST. Only about 3-4' from center line. Was Called: "SINK THEM!"

She’s such a lady , I do miss her long hair(wigs) she suited them snd looked much younger snd sexier, but, after decades of wearing wigs she must have felt such a freedom, too bad she just didn’t let her own hair grow long Everyone to their own taste, I used to love my hair long but that’s changed to, now, I like it short, not as short as hers, but long hair gets irritating after time

Watching this tore my heart right out of my chest. She had such an amazing way of wringing the emotion out of every word she sang. God bless her for all the joy she brought to so many through the years. Country music hasn't been the same since her passing, that's for sure.

Tammy was one of a kind.. the most beautiful strong voice with such distinction . And always so honest... I like her better then Loretta or dolly or reba.. just wish Tammy was strong enough to not need a man so bad...and being married... I think she would have been much better off...she must have been a romantic.

Im so glad i got to see this. Im a Nashvillian and never missed Dan Miller's show here or on the 6:00 news. I think everyone in Nashville watched and loved Dan. Tammy looked great here. She will always be queen of country music. Is there a part 2? I'd love to see the rest of this. Thanks for sharing it with us!
