This is great, Tammy was one of a kind, such a beautiful voice and woman........Wish I had met her, so thankful for videos and her music left for all time....
Hi Sandi, I met Tammy and I'll never forget that dsy. It was about a year before she left us. I was a server at a restaurant whete a lot of country music singers would come to eat here in Nashville. She was with Jan Howard. She was very sweet and seemed to be shy. I'm so glad I met her and got to wait on her. A dream come true for me.
That made me cry. I never went to any of the fan gatherings at Tammy's house. I always thought I was too broke -- couldn't take the time from work -- so I never even met Tammy Wynette. It's beautiful to see your friendship with her through the years, though I know it must hurt like the dickens not to have her today. Thanks a lot, Mark. This was a beautiful tribute to your friend and your friendship.
What a great video to Tammy Wynette and one of her greatest fans. I seen Loretta Lynn in concert (Feb. 19th,2010) and she was talking about how much she still misses Tammy. We all do!
A beautiful touching song we have our memories some memories it would be so vomfronting if we could go back step back and relive them be in them yes time goes way to fast. Grateful for our old friends always and our memories..
Mark ~ THANK YOU for sharing that with us. This is a beautiful tribute of your friendship with Tammy Wynette. I enjoyed it so much and love the song. I'm a long time Loretta Lynn fan and share a special friendship with her as well. I met her when I was 10 years old and we are still friends today some 300 concerts later. I never ask her for anything but pictures with her. They mean the most to me and I see you loved them as well. After Loretta is gone I will cherish them the most. Rick Cornett
when Tammy was young, her dream was to sing with George Jones (her words ,not mine) little did she know what a star she was with the possum or alone. I love Loretta, pasty,k d lang but the true QUEEN of country music is Tammy ... miss you so much
Oh wow Mark, this is so wonderful! I had the occasion to meet Miss Tammy 4 different times and, well you know, what a sweet and classy lady. Thanks so much for posting!!
Ah i see this amazing video is still up... I love your friendship with her and all the pictures and the work you put in to this video. I discovered this beautiful song because of this video... went on Ebay and bought a brand new copy of this LP and transfered it to cd and still enjoying this from time to time. I can say this song is one of my alltime favorite songs I EVER heard, and believe me; i have about 2,000 cd's, ha ! I love Tammy to Pluto and back. And this song is probably my alltime favorite song by her. Bless her and bless you !
This song was written by Linda Hargrove of Panacea, Florida. Google it. She wrote and co-wrote many, many of the hit tunes of the 70's and 80's era. She was known as the Original Blue Jean Country Queen.
Mark what was that Tabloid headline about "Bitter Mudslinging as ex hubby slams Tammy Wynette with $12M Lawsuit?" I've seen numerous Tammy WYnette Tabloid articles on ebay but never have seen that one.
