Wonderful, but I think the end of the second part in D major as transcribed by Segovia is better. She played differently, reducing the effect it could have
Sublime y hermosa tu interpretación toco de una manera extraordinaria mi corazón, tenia como un bloqueo creativo, pero todas las ideas surgieron al escucharte tocar. Saludos desde Chile
I only envy her completely relaxed right hand fingers with perfect controls. Her passions pushing Bach’s beautiful compositions forward from behind instead of using Bach to push forward her own passions. I felt such a respect and love for Bach from this performance.
The insensitive moron who placed an ad block in the middle of this divine performance should be imprisoned. Not to be released until he had mastered the piece himself. This might be the best Chaconne guitar version I have ever heard, Williams and Segovia included. Her tone, her voicing, her sensitivity, her right hand technique... absolutely stunning. Wow
Chaconne de Bach interpreter pour une fois avec toute l’excellence, la sensibilité, la perfection et avec beaucoup d’âme. Jean Sébastien Bach aurait aimé cette performance 😊❤
This is easily in my top three favorite performances of the Chaconne. Virtuosos like Parkening and Williams have done fine performances, but I prefer this less percussive version. For me, other virtuosic performances emphasize the technical part of the piece, but this one is more emotional. (The outstanding guitar and recording equipment/technique don't hurt, either.)
My favorite piece of music, and I very rarely can stand to hear it on guitar (even though I play guitar) but this is a phenomenal performance. The best guitar rendition I’ve ever heard by far.
