Beautifully presented and her articulation is just spot on. The musicality it second to few (there are so many that to say 'second to none would be too much) and the precision is just as near perfect as can be. The pianissimo may lead one into a false sense that this will be a player who has no 'oomph' when needed which would be totally wrong. When that turbo and fuel injection is required it is there in spades. A very talented player and one to watch out for in the coming years as she grows into herself as an all round player. Wonderful, just wonderful.
This is the best rendition of this piece on RU-vid. She plays the piece with a musical maturity that transcends the instrument she's playing. So many other guitarists adopt strange tempos and articulations that seem to infect many who play the classical guitar. Kanahi is first a musician and then a guitarist.
This is quite an achievement. What I find more interesting than the music is the absorption into the world Kanahi Yamashita. It seems that you will be absorbed by almost any piece played by her. It is her world of music coming out of her: a living, sensitive whole brought out by the classical guitar. The pieces themselves seem irrelevant and are just the ramp on which she dances, contorts, does full-scale acrobatics, takes flight, and shows us the delicacy and inner beauty of her world. Again, the pieces don't really mean anything. She more than anything or any piece of music comes across.
cette guitariste est absolument merveilleuse de finesse,de son,de précision,de toucher ,enfin de tout ! phrasé ,rythme, conception de la pièce, etc.. bravo!! sa chaconne est superbe, entre autre!
