I may be wrong but my understanding of "cross hair placement" is not skill based like static flick to fixed location, but in my opinion knowledge based for example, knowing a map understanding when a person is walking around a corner/up a ramp/ using stairs/ or any other type of situation you know where there head will be so preplacing your x hair there is obviously going to be a huge advantage.

~9x18 hands I'm currently using an MZ1 with a modded in thumb "sniper button". I love the GPW ambi button layout. I rewired and moved the underside DPI button to a sniper button, and used the right front side button for in game actions/abilities. (The Finals grab button) I don't get the GPX. It's supposed to be a safe. But it's way to rounded and way to wide that it feels really awkward to use. I even have troubles with the X2V2/X2A being to wide. The GPX is "heavy" for me. I got my OG GPW to 48 grams. :p I absolutely notice the jump even from 30-20. The jump from 40-20 is blatant IMO. Most games work fine on 8K. 🤔 Tho some don't. The difference between 540 and 360 is pretty decent. Not everything is about latency : )

My biggest problem is i cant find a sensitivity that suits me.. I jump between 0.45-0.75 sens 1600DPi week after week, tried so much different mouse,pads etc but i just caaaaant find something i like..
@WhatThisMeann
@WhatThisMeann 2 месяца назад
Try .2 sens. Your sens is way too high probably. A lot of pro valorant players play at 1600DPI with a sens between .1 and .2. I had the same problem as you, and after dropping my sens down to .2 its been a game changer. At first it felt hella slow but now it feels way way better than before.

@WhatThisMeann thanks for your reply! I actually did exactly what u commented just 2-3 days after and yes, it felt sooo slow at first, i ended up at 0.21 and now i love it. Feels so much better and i can control everything better! :)

I have found sensor positioning is crucial for the mouse to feel correct. I am sure that's why you perform better on the GPX even tho the shape is worse than the Harpe. The Harpe sensor sits a tiny bit too low. Or else I would main it. But I'm also stuck with the GPX, because of the perfect sensor placement. Edit: Most shapes are really horrible too. You need a mix of things that helps you stabilize your grip, most mice have some of them, but lack others that makes them really uncomfortable in the end. I think you need slightly different shaped mice depending on what grip you want to use, but you can also make a good mouse for most grips, that doesn't suck for all of them, like the GPX. I wish I had the money and know how to design a mouse from the ground up, after years of nerding out analyzing shapes etc I have several shapes in mind that I'm sure people would like.

Really liked this mouse, but wished the sensor would sit a couple millimeters further up to match the GPX which placed it perfectly imo. Best way to measure sensor distance is measuring from the back of the mouse and up to the sensor because the back of the mouse is where your wrist is gonna hit it. If you just put it centered on 2 mice with different lengths, its position is gonna feel different. And with that said, the sensor on the GPX isn't centered, because it shouldn't be, it's perfectly placed, which will make it feel "centered" 1:1 in game. That's why it's so good compared to most other mice that might have a better shape but still you can't perform with it, not really knowing why. The ZA12-B also has perfect sensor placement btw. Edit: Also the ridged sides on the Harpe and the "ROG" ingraved text on the right side didn't feel good. Wish they skipped that.

I think of it like bodybuilding. You can just go to the gym (aim training). And you'll see some improvements. But up to a certain point, you won't improve unless your diet (gamesense, map knowledge etc.) is dialed in and then it mostly depends on that.

This video is pretty underrated. Nice job bro, keep it up 👍 But.. I do want to disagree with one thing. I just wanted to say that I personally think that the large is better because it doesn’t take up to much space and I also think that it’s enough to move ur mouse around on the large. Don’t think ur wrong or anything but it’s just my opinion. Once again… awesome work

So after a month of finally deciding to stop changing my sens frequently and follow your advice, I’ve noticed a few things. I’ve found my aim labs scores kind of plateaued although being more consistent scores. As for my performance in game (Valorant) overall I would say it is way more consistent and steady. I think you are correct in saying IN GAME changing your sense is inherently bad for consistency. As for training, I’d say experimenting is the way to go and see what works for you. Well put together video bard👍🏼
