Hi Steven, Thank you for sharing this passion! I learn a lot from your videos. I am just starting to do an RBS and would like to know what product you use to keep the copper shiny and remove oxidation? Big thanks. Jack (France)
If I might ask a question, I should like to know how you paint all the parts black. Is it after the machine is assembled for the first time, and then disassembled for painting?
Hi Steven, I just finished my 3rd copper wire RBS each one smaller than the previous. I want to go down to perhaps 8”x8” and 10mm balls for my next one. Are you using 2mm wire for this size? Thank you, Mike
Excellent work !! I really like the size, color and quality of the materials.. Your work "Duality" sums up in such a small space many elements found in other larger creations... serpentines, spirals, switch... You haven't forgotten either the wheel with the speed variator.. All this in such a small space with the plexiglass which is placed above like the icing on the cake!!... Duality! like the Ying and the Yang in each of us or the same person hurried and stressed in the spiral of decisions to be taken in haste by a tortuous path and the other side of this person filled with serenity who takes time for life by a more peaceful road... The meeting of these two beings at the heart of your creation... I am a passionate person and I rediscovered marble machines thanks to the film "Fracture" with Anthony Hopkins which I just saw three days ago and whose main hero has a marble machine. It was like a click , a revelation... 🙂
@@marblemachines Do you think it would be possible to link your three mini creations together "Serpentine", "Duality" and "Gravity", that is to say that the marbles would go from one creation to another (such as a new creation wich could be called "Ser - Al - Ty" for example) ? 😀
Thanks! Yes, I sell them. Check my website, link in the video description--here you find many previous works. This machine in the video was sold for 1200 usd.
Working on a wood marble machine this month and just saw this video pop up in my RU-vid feed. Your sculpture is cleanly built, attractive with smooth motion and great attention to detail. Well done, sir!
