Hi, the diameter of the track is 1.6 mm.

@@marblemachines Many thanks for the info! Yesterday I tried to do the first steps in bending and soldering my own track with 1.8mm galvanized steel and wow, THIS IS NOT EASY! The most difficult thing was to hold the parts in position and to a clean soldering. After 20 years away from the school where I learned to solder I realized that I have to learn again. So your work is much appreciated! Do you have a hint for me how to hold the parts in position while soldering?

@@bastis.1751 Use a lot of various clamps and forceps to hold nearly everything. Also try to think in jigs and make them
