@sirbacharach1 did you ever find out what adoptor kit to get? Did you need to buy one in the end. In this video they use wingbars and it appears no bracket is necessary. There is a kit online called the 671 but it appears that is is optional. I've just ordered this ocean 80 and i have wingbars so i am worried
Sie machen da etwas falsch....sie setzen als erstes die 2 silbernen Eisen ein mit Schrauben....aber woran werden die fest gemacht ? Die haben garkeinen Halt ? Diese Dachstreben werden ihnen wegfliegen !!!! WICHTIG !
Spent about half an hour pondering how to fit these and concluding that 'surely they must pull apart' but needed more than just a gentle tug! Why oh why did the Thule box or instructions not indicate this!!!? Thanks for confirming, I've put my Stanley knife away!
Trhid my roof box is much bigger and weight 21,5 kg = on hig place like 180 cm with my size 175 cm is difficult raise. Yes use stairs raddle but tarmac damage allready box surfice color scriping that. Yes I am singel and work alone.
First . I am much sforter when that man . Ia am 175 cm and my car is 165 + roofrack 15 cm = 180 high. = wrong video for higher cars and shorter peopole !!!!!!!!!!
This box is a bit flimsy but I have nothing to compare it against. They might all be like that because they are designed to be lightweight. Also I have an aerobar also by Thule and nowhere in any of the instructions does it say that I will need an adapter to make my ocean 80 roofbox fit, but you do and there is no help anywhere telling you exactly what to buy. The retailers don't even know you need an adapter, ridiculous.
