Stunning journalling! I started something similar but gave up half way though due to lack of time. I hadn’t even thought of buying a pre made one! Excellent, thank you for that! Extremely relaxing as ever!
@@gowroodane they are lovely but I agree very time consuming and I think keeping journals that don't require as much commitment (ie I have a sort of scrapbooky plant journal I can just dip into when I fancy it) is easier! So far I'm loving this pre made one for reading! ☺️ would love to know which one you get, if you do! Thanks for commenting and supporting!
I saw the thumbnail and immediately knew you had good taste with the OK Computer (my favourite album of all time) and Petrodragonic Apocolypse in the background
This video had me knocked outtt last night but I had to come back today and comment that I think it’s literally fascinating that you are so dedicated to book journaling. I never even knew it was a thing! Ps: I also appreciated the red book and red book sticker inception lol
@@glasshalffullasmr Hah, it sometimes feels like a not so healthy hobby, I get so obsessive about summaries and can't move onto the next book until I've done them 😂 but I've done 2 entries in this one now and it's a much much better experience I think! I'm so happy you enjoyed the video and found it relaxing, and I appreciate the appreciation of the red book inception 😂Thank you so much for commenting ☺️ ❤️
I guess it depends on what kind of journal you want to keep :) but if you're not sure on that maybe start with something simple like 3 accomplishments of the day or 3 things you're grateful for, or even just a line of what you did :) you'll soon find what is helpful to you. Though if it's a reading journal you fancy trying it doesnt have to be one of these set out ones! Just a simple summary, thoughts on the book and some quotes are lovely to look back on! I hope you start!!! 😁
I also really enjoyed My Best Friend’s Exorcism. So far I have enjoyed anything that I read from Grady Hendrix really. Coraline is also absolutely fantastic.
For the first half of the reading journal (with the white border) I used an instax printer, then for second half they are printed out stickers using a HP Sprocket :) both super easy, you just use blue tooth to connect to your phone and print. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
Ohhh journaling!! I haven’t journaled in a while but I recently got a new journal to help record my emotions and that’s been fun! I do have a general journal too but I mostly use it to write down whatever I want and decorate it with stationary and stickers I’ve collected. I don’t have a book journal because I actually use the app StoryGraph for my reading! I love logging my books into it and over the months of your reading progress, you get various graphs showing all the different details about the books you read which is really cool!
I love using tons of stationery in journals too ☺️ so fun. I also have a daily journal, it's a hobonichi and I definitely recommend those if you enjoy daily journaling! I think you really see benefit in looking back and remembering/realising how you were feeling and what you were doing. StoryGraph sounds good! Nice and quick being on an app too :) thank you for watching!
@@gabrielexyz thank you! And id love to know which journal you choose if you get one! I have done 2 book entries since this video and it's felt so much more relaxing and really made me engage with how I felt about the book :) thanks for commenting!
You can buy anything you want, friend. Of course you can buy the books because you loved the movie! I think it’s perfect because you loved the books as a child and your an avid reader. It’s totally fitting and justified that you bought them…and your viewers can reap the benefits, too, with the awesome sounds.🥰
@@SilverfishASMR If you ever choose to have a little one someday, you'll be an amazing bedtime story reader! Your voice is so soothing, and your energy is calm and comforting.😊😴
@@tarmel3138 thank you 😊 I would love to have someone to read a bedtime story to and introduce to harry potter!! The rest of it I'm not totally sold on yet 😂 thanks for commenting 😊
Ohhh such a cute haul! I have never read Beatrix Potter or watched anything related to it but those books are adorable! And I absolutely love the artstyle! There’s something charming about watercolour pictures that you don’t really see a lot in kids books anymore. I have been wanting to read similar kids books like the Moomins and Winnie the Pooh
Yes I totally agree, they do feel nostalgic and i think it's because so much is computer generated now. Winnie the pooh is also a great one I would LOVE to own some of those books! Thank you for commenting 😊
What a delightful video! I’m currently doing a read through of The Wind And The Willows on my channel. This is the first time I’ve read it and am loving it! I feel the same about it in that it uses such big words and lyrical language that you may not see in children’s books today. I’d love to hear you read any of the Beatrix Potter tales! I’d also love to hear your review of the other 6 once you’ve read them. 💚
Wind in the Willows is my absolute favourites and my book is probably my favourite thing I own 😊😂 I will deffo check out our reading videos! Yes it's interesting how much kids books have changed to point of these feeling so naustalgic
This is a lovely video. Like you I love The Wind in the Willows. I particularly like the winter parts where Mole finds his home and the mice doing the Christmas carols.
Yes those parts are particularly cosy! I must think about snowing more my wind in the willows book, I do love it so much. Maybe a reading favourite parts video or something 😊 thank you for commenting!
I Loved reading that series when my son was young. Absolute classics! We don’t have hedgehogs in the wild where I live, so I’m beyond jealous of you! 😊
Oh no, no hedgehogs! I very very rarely see them but when I do it feels really special! Thank you for commenting and I'm glad the video could remind you of reading to your son :)
So sweet and relaxing! ☺️ I loved Peter Rabbit when I was little. I haven't watched the whole video yet but planning on continuing it tonight. I adore your top. It's so pretty, and it brings out your eyes. 💚💚💚
Hey! Aw thank you I'm really hope you enjoyed it :) that's so sweet about the nail colour, I wear so much green and that's a lovely thing to think, that it matches my eyes 😊❤️ I also love Peter rabbit and been loving discovering a few other characters in these books. It's been a good time! 😂😊
Ohhh this video was released on my birthday but I only just watched it now! I missed your videos and realised you were posting again so I binged watched a few before bed! Your book tapping is one of my absolute favourite triggers and I love hearing you talk about books! Also I’m really interested in Teapsy thanks to you! The packaging is so cute!
Happy belated birthday! Thank you, I really hope you enjoyed the video binge session! Teapsy is delicious, I've just ran out of the cherry and cacao one and going to have to pace myself getting more 😂
