The video shows you my little book haul from Astley Books Farm :) It is a second hand book shop with so many quirky corners and an amazing yurt cafe.
I realised in this video I call the shop Anstey Book Farm...Im just a fool getting it wrong, it is called Astley! Apologies for the confusion!
I hope you enjoy the book tapping, scratching and whispering :)

really love how you don’t base your taste in books based on booktoks or books that got popular on tiktok. I love how you give chance to every novels and/or authors, popular or not. I have nothing against booktoks but it’s just so rare to find TBR lists that’s not from tiktok 😅

I finished Still Life a couple of days ago. It's a beautiful read which at times is heartbreakingly sad and at times funny and full of warmth and love. It's easily one of my favourite reads of the year....and I'm very jealous of the beautiful copy you picked up! 😊

That's great to hear that you enjoyed it, I think im going to read it early on in the new year. It feels like a new year book rather than a Christmas time book, especially as I think it will have themes of new beginnings etc :) I feel so lucky to have that copy! Thanks for commenting!

the sign at the entrance of the shop made me cackle😭 the bookshop itself is so cute! I haven’t gotten the chance to visit one in over a month, so now I’m going to make some time to go to my local one tomorrow and splurge on some books hehe. Excited to get some book recs from this as well!

Oh my! I actually had the pleasure of watching “The woman in black” at the west end in London when I visited and was really surprised at how they still managed to make us jump in our seats despite it being an old school play without the effects we got used to seeing in the movies nowadays 😱👻 Didn’t read the book though 😅 Do come back to tell us how it was when you get to it?
