This channel will be the beginning of my quest to learn about and play with electronics and technology. I will start with the basics and build up with more advanced projects. I plan to include Arduino and Raspberry pi projects eventually but start with more basic mini projects that deal with electricity, understanding of electric components, battery charging and maintenance, Super capacitors, solar cell energy storage, peltier tec heating cooling and energy capture and hopefully many more. I'll probably include guides as in which components and parts to avoid purchasing from ebay, aliexpress or amazon.

this charger is a crap. it doesn't fully charge batteries and doesn't properly identify current charge. neither lithium, nor NiMH. probably because it's not smart enough to make short pauses between cycles to measure the voltage. my old no-name charger does a better job.
Just got one from Goodwell for $2.99. No USB cabal, instead it came with a power adapter, it also came with two of the smaller lenses that have different magnification.
using shift-control-option-power method worked for me, thanks a lot! i was thinking about to replace the battery, but you saved my day. Thank you a lot!
I tried all day to get my mabook pro to wake up. Apple help was useless. On my screen a "battery charge symbol" was displayed. I watched 20 seconds of this video and my laptop powered up on the first try. Thanks!
Just finished the swap out. Plugged it in and attached to MacBookPro. The light on the end lit-up green but flashes -- it flashes briefly at 2-sec interval. The Charge lightning bolt on the screen goes on and off in time with the green light as it goes on and off. Thoughts?
I started questioning my life choices. I watched 30+ minutes of someone charging batteries, on the same make charger I already own, and I enjoyed it. I'm pretty old though, so maybe this is practice for my retirement in 30 years' time?
Question: if the battery is dead does the magsafe cord not light up anymore? Cause yours doesn't seem to light up same as mine but on my macbook it still holds a little charge its stuck on 14% when plugged in but the percentage doesn't go up or down when plugged in, but as soon as i remove the cord it still stays on at 14% and as i leave it the percentage goes down to 13% but if i plugged it back in it stays to that percent (13%) it won't charge up the mac also shows a message at the top "battery is not charging"
Place them in series so that you know that you're measuring the same current. Sometimes the meters show the power consumed by the meter. Sometimes when current flows in one direction, the current of the meter is included and in the other direction it is not. Did you try switching the Arduinos in case one was consuming more power than the other?
I got the black kewiesi one, I tried to calibrate this thing and has since messed it up as it just keep giving the wrong readings now, I can't get any reading higher than 0.18A now, It's impossible everything has such a little current right? Could you tell me how to get it back to factory default? secondly, what is the thing called calibration, I followed the instruction that says one should hold the botton then plug in the tester which I did then, next, I have to double-press, to change the arrow from forward to up then press one more time to change the arrow upwards then press once to increase the current that's the +000 display, what exactly is this? I'm required to increase that thing(which is the current) then double press for the arrow to charge to forward and press once one last time before ending the cablbration but, after doing all these it started giving wrong readings. What exactly should I increase the current to when I'm pressing once between those arrow changes process? lord I can't stand electronics.
That’s hilarious! I might have a go at calibrating it for fun - but it shouldn’t ‘really’ need - & I’m not that ‘fussed’ of purely accurate readings.I might end up breaking it - corrupting the code like it sounds you might have done. I’ve resurrected these Chinese things by chance - extra long presses - it’s a fluke sometimes - What I would say is make sure you have a power bank or adapter plug that can supply enough current for whatever you’re charging - make sure the leads you use are able to provide the current you need - & whatever you’re charging - be it a battery - you know it requires more than the 0.18A you mention If the above doesn’t help - buy a new/ improved one! Don’t give up on electronics says the Lord! 🤘
