About the CEO: Jamie Foster Brown once worked with the Chicago-based Zenith Radio Company. In 1979, Brown started a ticket company, Washington Theater Group. She then worked for Robert Johnson's Black Entertainment Television (BET), first in advertising as a secretary and then later was promoted to a TV producer for Video Soul and Video LP programs until leaving in 1987. As a TV producer, Brown had met musical talent, such as Whitney Houston and others, and would later use her contacts for her entertainment reporting. Hence, the birth of Sister 2 Sister magazine.

It's it amazing and beautiful how every single person in the venue was just having the time of their lives. No worries about race. Ppl laughing and dancing with total strangers and enjoying themselves not as a black, brown, Asian, white, rich, poor, Jew, Islam, democrat or Republican. These were ppl vibing along with such sincere heart because of how much they all loved Salt and Peppa. The most meaningful/impactful song I hever from Salt and Peppa was it when brought out for the Atlanta Olympics because I was a an Omlympian hopeful and EVERYONE FROM countries ALL OVER THE WORLD were singing this specific song because at that time democracy/no censorship was in it's infantry. The idea that hundreds of thousands of ppl were out in public completely unafraid singing at the top of their lungs about topics in that in Communist, Socialist, Fascist, and Tryannical Dictator's were something that left the anti freedom(easy to write out) in total shock because the ppl can criticize, mock, and laugh at all authoritarian regime s/Dictator's/ and anyone the Nepotistic governments were absolutely LIVID that the plebs could DARE say ANYTHING REMOTELY remotely considered negative in ANY SENSE. Nothing makes my heart then see ppl enjoying each other and not worrying about this modern day politician furthering the divide between the ppl.
