Ciara and Neyo in my eyes were the only 2 who understood the impact Salt N Pepa put on music in the 90's they really the only 2 that felt it.
@House.Of.Pain.
@House.Of.Pain. 3 года назад
I wouldn’t say all that! Just because they may be black doesn’t mean they know the impact, or importance more than someone who’s not black that’s a honestly just ludicrous, and ridiculous to even say that. I’m black through and through 110% but I have a white homeboy who’s probably more from that lifestyle than you are! I honestly know a lot of people who’re not black and know the cultural importance that they brought to the industry. My baby mama is white and she loves Salt -N-Peppa it’s literally one of her favorite groups of all time and she still listens and understand how important they were/are. And not to be a dick but assuming someone knows more about something just because their color is straight out ignorant and low key racist. By using your logic most white people only feel the impact ands importance of most sports events because white people created a lot of sports that black people excel in ie football, basketball. So, I guess we as black people don’t understand the impact, or importance of most major basketball, or football events if I’m not mistaken? We don’t understand the impact that certain phones, computers, etc etc give us because a lot of those were designed by people of different races, ethnicities, religions and not blacks? Honestly I truly dislike when people make comments like this because yeah you maybe right but you don’t have to broadcast your subjective opinions because this is the kind of talk that breeds more hatred. Now if someone white reply’s and says some of the stuff I said how would it make you feel? You’d be at least a little upset because I know for a fact I would but then you have to realize you’re the one that created this.

Kelly Clarkson was fangirling and I love it! How I miss all this music, during my teen years!! And high school years. These ladies ain't never lost it. They are and will always be DA BOMB. Now salt and pep tryna say Spin wasn't an intricate part of the group ....come on! Back in the day, she was the only mainstream female DJ I knew. And her DJing in the Push It video is iconic. Plus she has the most memorable line in What A Man. I'm feeling judgy about the non-dancers in the audience... Who's here after the bio-pic...lol??? Cinderella is definitely just as much a part of the group as any of them What was wrong with the crowd? I would've lost my mind in the house full of Queens such as Salt 'n' Pepa/En Vogue. They opened up so many doors for so many artists and these songs never get old just like these beautiful queens. Beautiful Only TLC was missing. That'd have been awesome I caught a glimpse of Rebie Jackson she is in her 60s here ...... she looks gorgeous Spin's verse was always my fav Kelly had to be ecstatic to be up on that stage with Salt N Pepa and En Vogue. Dream come true, I'm sure! They did Spin dirty tho ALL 3 OF THEM ARE ICONIC!!! I just watched them last night at the Mix Tape tour! It was AWESOME!!! I got my entire existence of LIFE! I hate when Iconic music is lost on this new generation. It's like "Come'on people"! I don't know about anyone else, but I miss a good Mix Tape! Playlist just doesn't hit the same. To me 80's to the early 2000's was the best TIME!
