Seashell collecting & storytelling, beachcombing experiences, and educational ocean related content from Northern New England, Florida and anywhere else I have an opportunity to visit
I’m loving your videos! The highway has got to be coolest ever. The Maine trip blows me away with all the blue. Do you ever sell your shells? I’d love to have a sky blue one.
We’re looking at getting out of Florida to do some shelling and we were thinking Puerto Rico would likely be the easiest and possibly cheapest option. We would love to add some self collected Caribbean shells to our shelves. As always, I enjoyed this episode!
Thank you for sharing the specifics of where you were. Always appreciate that. Thank you for sharing the information of the book. I thought it was a gaudy nautica ! Appreciate your videos!
Hi there! I will always provide, at minimum, the general area of where I am visiting. 🐚🐚 I appreciate you coming along, and thank you so much for watching!
Thank you so much for my vicarious beach and shell fix. For some reason, The Fates/Lady Karma plopped me in Chicago - no shell beaches or places to rock-hound, but I have managed to acquire a houseful anyway! Do you know how/why these lovely critters expired and left this life? All sizes/ages. I know about Oyster Drills, but there are so many empty lovelies just laying there...
Love the quiet and peaceful video but I do miss hearing you talk. The scenery is fantastic! Some of those shells were awesome! Brian you just outdo yourself every video. Sometimes I just watch them over and over and I realize you picked a perfect name " solace" . The best!!!
Sigh...beautiful as always. The oyster shell is European Flat Oyster? It was so pretty. Thank you for a peaceful hunt, and the pup! Precious. Have a lovely week out there!
I so enjoyed the sights and sounds without any words this time. Just feeling as if I were by your side finding shells. Uncomplicated. Thank you so much.
Hey Brian... How's things going? Good to see ya. Hope all is well. As always, love the journey and the treasures ! Keep'm coming. Have to say, jealous of some awesome finds you come across. Thanks for sharing. Greatly appreciated.
Hi there! I have quite a few shells in my collection already, so often when I am filming these episodes, I'll generally only take home a few specimens. I agree that they cleaned up beautiful! Thanks for watching!
Maine is such a lovely state! My hopes are to visit the New England states in the near future! Also, I love the size of the deep sea scallops! Thank you for this video!
Thank you. It’s been a rough couple of weeks and I needed this style of vlog from you. I miss your voice ❤️ but this one was sooooo serene and peaceful with so much beauty ❤🐚🐚
This video reminds me of when I am down on the shore and just wandering around caught up in my own thoughts and just rummaging through the rocks at the tide pools a short distance from my house...and the sounds of the sea and the cry of the gulls mixed in all make for a great day of exploration...and today, sitting and just watching...in 4K...and not getting my feet wet...priceless....so, thanx for letting me tag along...!
Awwww the crib stone bridge my great aunt and uncle had a cottage on Bailey’s Island and we spent many weekends there as children combing the beach for shells , way back when you used to be able to find a lot of sea glass in different colors , now not so much!
Hey, I just wanted to say thank you for always taking us along on your wonderful and exciting journies, I've been having a really rough year lately but since I discovered your channel, it's helped a lot with my mental health and it always gets me excited to go back to the beach and look for more shells and just take a step back and enjoy the beach.
Saw the Cribstone Bridge and shouted, "We've been there!" Looked like you were at Wolfe's Neck State Park in Freeport as well. Love that part of Maine.
Thank you for this beautiful video. The Neptune shell, Quahogs, purple Muscles, Dog whelks, great finds. I want to visit Maine. Hopefully one day. My travels are usually West Gulf coast. I’ve been captivated by the West Gulf coast from Saint Pete down to the 10,00 Islands. ( since 1995 )Thanks again! Stunning video of the calm waters. 🐚😊
Now I know what people mean when they say, "The video feels like home." So fun right? I just love the gaudy's the 10K has. Yes, those little cones are Dusky cones and Acid Magic is the best!
Yes! The Gaudy's are some of the best here! Also those Vera Moonsnails, are super fun finds as well... when you can find them 😂 As always, thanks for watching, dear shell friend!
