Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the green lushness! Jamaica’s natural beauty is truly something special. More adventures to come, stay tuned! Blessings
What a transformation. This section of St. Thomas used to look so desolate. I always think of Hordley Crossing when I see the 1986 movie Crossroads. Before the road improvement, it looked like the crossroads where Willie Brown meets the devil.
It's amazing to see the transformation, right? The improvements are truly bringing a new vibe to St Thomas. Hordley Crossing does have that classic Crossroads mystique! It's wonderful that these changes are turning those once desolate areas into something great. Big up yourself!
Hurricane Gilbert of '88 was a game-changer for Jamaica! The Southern Coastal Highway Improvement Project is another massive transformation, and we're excited to see the positive changes unfold. Thanks for tuning in and sharing your thoughts! Blessings Tom and Madge
Thank you so much for the love and support! We're thrilled to be back and excited to share these adventures with you. Stay tuned for more incredible videos! 🇯🇲🚙 Big up yourself!
Thanks for watching our video and for your curiosity! While our adventures are shared with all of you, it's just the two of us on this journey. Big up yourself!
Tom, I'm holding you accountable to ensure that the JD$115 million is spent in Cheswick, seeing that the news was first announced on your channel😂😂😂. I enjoyed the vlog and admire how you highlight the work/contribution of the other vloggers in the work they do to keep viewers updated on the road improvement project. Stay blessed and Aaamen.
Hey! We will definitely be keeping a close eye on the progress in Cheswick and will update you all. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the vlog - we truly appreciate the work of other vloggers too! Bless up yourself and Aaamen.
Glad you enjoyed the video and came over to check out our perspective! It's an exciting time for St Thomas with all these changes. Stay tuned for more adventures. Bless up yourself! 🇯🇲
I believe it is. The fuel efficiency of using our car engine at idle to generate enough electricity for our refrigerator is actually quite good-around 1/2 gallon per hour or less. Most generator engines are less fuel efficient, typically using 3/4 to 1 gallon per hour, and they can be quite noisy. We only run the car for a couple of hours, 2-3 times a day, to keep the refrigerator cool. We also make sure the car’s fuel tank is full if we know bad weather is coming.
Thanks for watching and for your interest! We use a 1000W pure sine wave inverter that connects to our car’s 12V battery using clips similar to jumper cables. From the inverter’s 110V AC output, we plug in an extension cord to power our refrigerator during outages. This setup converts the car’s 12V DC power to 110V AC, which keeps our fridge running smoothly. It’s truly a lifesaver in those situations! Hope that helps. Bless up!
Here is the inverter we got from Amazon. a.co/d/cmnykJP This particular model doesn’t ship to Jamaica anymore, but there are others available that can be shipped directly from Amazon to Jamaica.
Big up, Kimroy! Thanks for tuning in all the way from Maryland. We appreciate the info on Phase 6 and Phase 5. Stay tuned for more updates as we keep exploring Jamaica! Bless up yourself!
I am seeing where access is cut off for a lot of those houses where the Highway is being prepared to be built. Was those land purchased by the Government for the Highway? I don't see how it would be safe to continue living in those houses with the Highway on your door step.
Thank you for your comment! The government has indeed acquired many of the lands affected by the construction to ensure the safety and proper relocation of the residents. It's a massive undertaking but they're working to make sure everyone is taken care of. Big up yourself!
@@sittingherewatching364 Yes, they often wait as long as they can. We’ve also seen cases where they tear down just part of the house and leave the other part intact. In many cases the buildings are built beyond their property, but the authorities will still compensate them for their losses. I’m no expert on it, but have heard about it and seen it. Bless up yourself for bringing up the topic.

Perhaps you can do a video on how to comment from the television. I view often from the television but unable to comment without going back to the phone like now.
Thanks for watching and dropping a comment! We’re glad you enjoyed the video. You’re right-it can be tricky to comment from the TV, and honestly, we’re not even sure if it’s possible. In any case, hitting the like button from your TV is always a great way to show support! Big up yourself!
