Really amazing on what you are achieving, I love it! Will you eventually allow visitors? I would love to visit one day when I travel to South Africa. 👍 🇦🇺
Ive been riding a Harley Iron 883 with a stage 1 and it has around 55 hp and 55 ft lbs torque aka 75 nm. I'm looking for a step up in bike but want something lighter and sportier and this Trident 660 seems to be everything im looking for and the pricepoint I wanna stay around but I wonder if the power of the 660 will be enough of a step up from my Sportster? Do you think I will be satisfied with the power of 660 cuz I want a notable increase although not crazy but a good amount more. Is it the right bike for me or do I need to step up a little more than the 660? My skill level is very good on a Harley but never ridden a naked style bike like these.
@@Nucklehead-mm9gf I think the step up in power will only give you joy for a short time. I say this cause your Harley is more torque focused and the trident a more Hp focused motor which is deceiving as a real step up. I think for long term satisfaction on step up in power maybe test ride a 900
@@route21garage That's what I was thinking. I'd rather drop a few grand more than buy the 660 only to trade up 1 year later forking out more cash and go through the buying process again. I think the Tiger 900 makes most sense especially with wind protection that I really need in Northeast USA. The Street triple 765 is probably too aggressive and more committed stance for me so the Tiger 850 or 900 is probably the right play. Thank you very much for answering my question.
What a spectacular place you have first envisaged then created. This has to be up there with best ' toyboxes ' on the planet when completed and all your bikes and memorabilia in there. I take it all the bikes that aren't mothballed will be runners and used, as indeed they should be. I cant wait to see the video when you get them all in there. This I think will be an emotional video for you. All the very best to you and thank you for sharing your journey.
How would you rate pillion riding for this version? I’m interested to understand how to fix a top box or would it only accommodate tie down duffel bags as you mentioned?
Truly enjoy every aspect of your channel and your wide variety of bike reviews. BRAVO to your endeavors to your museum, it is truly unique and beautiful !
It’s obvious that nothing you have just fell into your lap but that it was earned over many years. I really enjoy seeing someone with such passion and humility achieving their dreams. Well done, it looks phenomenal.
The more you ride it, the more you love it. And, yes, the gearbox is clonky when cold. Ride mine year round in Sweden, no problems. Can recommend an anti glear for the screen.
Looking to buy one, had a 2019 bmw i3s with range extender, absolutely Brilliant car, I only sold it cause I moved Overseas and would love to get another one.
HORRIBLE STORAGE UNDER SEAT VERY VERY TINY UNLIKE THE GIANT XMAX 300 that can easily fit 2 .....yes 2 full size helmets plus jackets tools etc.....its the biggest of any 300 cc scooter in the world !!!! Think about getting the much better Yamaha Xmax 300 ....I love my 2023 with Garmin on dash and blue tooth on dash .....NO HANDS NEEDED TO TALK ON PHONE AND NO NEED FOR A GPS ......ITS BUILT INTO THE NEW DIGITAL DASH !!!!
Ive heard the paint scratches easily. Wondering what your experience is? (assuming you bought it). Also hows the bike so far? Starting to become rarer these 1000ccs,with all the euro detuning and expense.
I was about to ride 135miles to my neighboring state to test ride this 2023 800DE...but got a text msg before leaving stating that these bikes were under recall at the moment and that I couldn't buy or test ride the bike in question - 2023 800DE. Anyone know what the recall is?
128 kph? My 300x easily hits 90 mph (145 kph), and I have run her up to 101 mph (162 kph} tops on the speedometer. This bike is quicker, nimbler and just as fast as the Vstar 650 cruiser which I traded in. Not to mention it's a ton more fun to ride.
@@pja123pja in the meantime I got more out of this one too, remembering my first review she was new and motor still a bit tight and I was testing her at 1700meter altitude
