can you please tell me that which is better with high coloured designs ? I want to print designs on tote bag and I want primium quality. So which way I should go dtf or dtg ?
That would be awesome had the Stampinator people not held back a part to the machine then refused to send it later even though it was supposed to be included with the machine.
Do you find that DTF is as thick and uncomfortable as the internet says? In my samples I found DTG to be super comfortable but it just looks cheap and like it’s going to flake off and disintegrate quickly…(I got a gildan 5000 100% cotton shirt, as cotton was recommended for durability) Is DTF at all comparable in wearable comfort? Or is there a massive difference?
Hey! DTF quality and definition for vector file is hard to beat. If you are printing a photo or design on a light garment t-shirt without white, then DTG is the way to go. So the answer is it depends on the garment type, but moreover on the design itself. We currently do 90% of our production using DTF. We've got the newest technologies and the quality is just insane!
@@Printeez ok cool thanks so much! I’m using printful for drop shipping. Unfortunately they don’t allow vector files so I have to export my vector files to PNG files at a mega high DPI for good quality. I’m getting 100% cotton Tshirts made. I have a DTF sample and the color is amazing and it feels super durable. But the DTG sample has a feel that makes me scared it’s going to disintegrate. Honestly the DTG is waaaay more comfortable, but I just don’t trust the longevity. In your experience, am I trippin? Does DTG really last? I’d love some real world reviews on how long DTG is really going to last or if DTF is just far superior. Thanks again this is really helpful!!!
Hey Shawn and team, can you explain the benchmark requirements in order to qualify for the POD service from Printeez, please? It's a bit unusual compared to the other POD apps on Shopify etc. Thanks
We typically add 4% discharge additive to our inks so that our colors POP & maintain a good color vibrancy after washing. Depending on how the client will washes his clothes, discharge inks will always tend to "fade" with every wash since you've essentially re-dyed the fibers of the shirt. With every wash the fibers get worn down so the vibrancy diminishes with every wash as well. I hope this answers your question!

Salut qui peut m’aider j’ai un dtf et j’utilise maintop mais la couche blanche ne reconnaît pas les parties blanches. Quand j’ai du blanc ça mets pas de couches.

We run DTF in our shop and the only thing some of our customers don't like is the feel on large DTF prints, it's great for small prints and short runs for us, but good deal on what you guys are able to do.
You can get a mat finish by using a kraft paper when you press the press a second time. Ex: Press and peel, then add your kraft paper and press again. The DTF PET Film you are using can also play a role in the finish you get.
Thank you Scott! We have bought DTF machines in the past but we were not 100% satisfied with quality. We have not found anything that would get us results like the current DTG machines we use to do DTF. We get vibrant colors, no lines and the prints are perfect. We are still looking for an inline DTF machine that would meet our quality standards.
How the washability? it has to be legit if you guys bought multiple printers, my print started flaking off after 3 washes but I'm new to it , maybe not curing correctly?
