Anyone who makes a video like this or watches this video does not really ride.

Thank you so much for this! I went from either avoiding jumps altogether or almost getting bucked off and crashing to hitting as many jumps as I could. This was all in one day. I took one run at it, almost crashed a few times, and took a water break. Sipped some water while watching this video and gave it another go. Wow! Huge difference! It really is as simple as standing up, and it felt like my feet were fused to my pedals. I was able to stick the landing with much better control, also.

People are encouraged by other riders to post their rides. Other riders have mentors who help them become better riders and think that how they ride is helpful. If you look at MTB as a global tourism industry, people travel from all over the world with different skill sets and want to see the average Joe ride a trail and show a real perspective of the ride and not some Uber edited ride video. More content the better, but the people posting should give a little intro on their capability so others have an idea of a trail is good for them to ride after watching.

As a motorcycle rider I had to learn not to use my body weight for the lean. Before that I was trying to ride like motocross and kick off the inside of the turn... total fail. Bicycles are too light for that technique.

Some great info. I'm pretty good at jumps as can be seen in my YT videos but this is some excellent info. I think I subconsciously do this when hitting most jumps, I getting excited for the DH season!

Did you mean Hyperview? I didn’t have the option of the Same resolutions and frame rates as you highlight at the end on my GP11 if hyperview is selected. That view narrows the options down to 50fps @ 4k or 24/25fps @ 5.3k and that’s it….

as someone who rides a bike for day to day travel since I was a wee lad (10-12 to now 24). I don't understand why people need to be explained this. just turn fast bro, like you will never get good watching tips n trick videos, they'll help you get an idea, but ultimately you'll have no idea what to do until you try to do it consistently, find a turn you like, and keep attempting that turn, with the goal of each attempt to be faster than the last. trial and error, push urself to near failure

You know... I've been riding MTB for more than 20 years already... and YOUR VIDEO was the one that turned the key!!! Its amazing the so simple tip, like "put pressure" in the corner of the tire changed the whole game to me. Since I watched the video and start practicing the "pressure in the corner of the tire" I have improved a lot the control and velocity! Besides that, if the bike break loose a little bit the ground... its true, the bike moves sideways along with me and its easy to control it! I am really thankful for your video and needed to express my gratitude by writing here my testimony! Thank you very much!

Being small doesn’t make much of a difference if your still having to wear the chest mount
@TheLoamRanger
@TheLoamRanger 2 дня назад
but if you can take the camera off of your chest and pop it on your helmet to get a different angle...without even noticing the weight of it... makes a huge difference. Especially now with the 4K version that just came out.

This came instinctually for me , first time I hit a sharp curve going fast I automatically ally leaned the bike in while staying upright , also my first instinct was to hold the opposite pedal down in a curve and press down on it for traction , I always thought that's supposed to happen by Instinct without thinking about it

It's actually handy to have the "Bimblers" as PinkBike put it. I'm not a bimbler and not a pro, so when I see someone "Bimble" a trail that's gnarly it's more of a gauge whether it'll suit me and my ride style and skill set. We all love the same thing... mtb. Beginner intermediate or pro that's what's great about riding bikes. I document my own stuff so my kids who are very young can see what their dad was up to in his mid 30s and still shredding bikes since aged 2 and srill having fun. If my clips can inspire someone to pick up their bike and ride, well that's a job well done!!

Beautiful build and so well thought out. You have every amenity covered in such a compact and sleek package. Great work! What made you decide on the regular awning with the arm vs. a 270 degree awning? Also will the X suspension lifters lift the Disco higher than the stock suspension? Looked like it did but want to be sure.

I will definitely try this when I’m back at the trails. I’m recovering from a fractured thumb that happened while cornering on my local trails (dry, loose terrain). I’m riding a brand new S-Works Epic Evo that came with Specialized Ground Control T5 2.35 tires. My previous tires were Maxxis Ardent 2.4 in the front. I’m 5’ 9” 195 lbs and I used to ride with 30psi back and 25psi in the front. I think the Specialized tires either lack cornering grip or run with less pressure. Since day 1 I’ve been skidding all over the place. My question is: is tire pressure a very crucial factor when it comes to gripping on cornering or is it more of a thread pattern decision? I definitely will try to put less psi, I’m just worried that it will feel weird…..thank you..

Hello. I want to live stream while fishing by sharing the internet from my phone. As far as I know, Gopro can also record to SD card while live streaming. Is there the same feature in Insta360 Ace pro , DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and DJI Osmo Action 4? Which one do you recommend for live streaming?

As usual, a great video, with great value, and honest as usual, thank you. However this time I tend to disagree. I mean, I agree with ANY of your points, 100% on spot. However the relative weight I give to the absence of cables, so easy while mounting/removing the derailleur, while you change a hanger, is way more important than all the other points you mention. And, to me, cable tension tuning in the mech, is the only thing I hate in the whole bike maintainance, I am just bad at it. Having a software setup, is such a relief for me that every other point just does not matter. And, you are right on spot; I got myself without battery once, I was not happy, it happens. However I would never change my AXS GX with a mechanical.

I straight up had no clue people have trouble with this until I seen this video Like My biggest problem is that I go so fast I've had to put both my feet on the same side the bike just to get enough lean to keep from flipping which at that point my 2 problems are 1: my handlebar might hit dirt and throw me 2: if my handle don't hit anything I'll lean it so far the tread on my bike don't touch anymore its the sidewall of the tire so that's where I slide the most But I straight up thought people naturally lean the bike that much bc I did and everybody else I know except my step mom and her 2 kids does it
