Lol. Took a point away from spotify because of ads. 🤣 even tho if you would’ve spent that $10.99 that you spent on Apple Music, on Spotify, you wouldn’t have had ads. SMH 🤦🏻♂️
No if you watched the video, I said I’m comparing them out of the box (meaning without any unnecessary payment). In Apple’s case, that’s impossible because they don’t offer a free tier, whereas Spotify does. I actually GAVE Spotify a point for this fact alone. I also mentioned that you WON’T have to deal with ads if you pay. So maybe watch the whole video first. But still, it’s up to you and what works best for you at the end of the day.
The title was partial clickbait but also partial truth in the sense that what I meant by “win” was due to the AI features. Many companies like OpenAI and Samsung have had or provided AI features. But not a ton have integrated deeply enough to the point where the assistant could truly feel personal (I say could because I haven’t personally tested Siri yet). But yes, “win” is a bit of an overstatement 😅
I wanted to ask you how you make your videos let me know if you want to talk. I’m very interested to know how you do it because I’m trying to learn how to make videos on RU-vid
i'm on the fence about both, but you bring a really good point about spotify working with every platform/software/whatever. i do have an apple ecosystem, but i also play on my pc sometimes & i love spotify being readily available on my phone & on my pc. great video :)
I have used *both* Apple Music and Spotify, with Spotify as my go-to music streaming service. I have the AirPods Pro 2, but because Bluetooth *doesn't* support lossless audio, I see no point in using Apple Music, also, as a Windows user, the Apple Music desktop app is *slow* , *laggy* , and I often find myself troubleshooting issues instead of listening to music and downloading songs takes _forever_ , even with a high-speed connection. Also, Spotify's algorithms are *SUPERIOR* over Apple Music's. After a playlist ends on Apple Music, I often find myself just picking up my phone and switching songs to something that I actually like, instead of the garbage that Apple Music recommends me, and it is worth noting that I have used Spotify for the last *ten* years and I only started using Apple Music when I got a free 6-month trial after purchasing the AirPods Pro. As you mentioned in your video, which was really good btw, Apple Music is *100x better* when it comes to lyrics and just feels faster on my phone. (iPhone Xr) So except for the things I mentioned in this essay of a comment (lmao), Apple Music is a really solid choice if you have Apple's Ecosystem. Spotify suits me better for the devices I use imo.
PS: You can use Apple Music on Android if you have an Android phone and a Mac, but since Spotify integrates 90% of the time well enough with almost any hardware (irrespective of Apple, Microsoft, Amazon or Android) people would logically rather choose it over Apple Music...
If your willing to spend money on Apple music, Spotify should be given a fair comparison by comparing it with the premium plan too. Why'd you compare paid Apple Music to FREE Spotify?
I compared it to free Spotify because many people would rather use the free service and it’s worth mentioning that one gives you a lot for free. But I did give information about what the paid version could also do in comparison to Apple Music so I hope that both crowds got what they needed
From experience, Apply Music is nice for pricing (student discount here in Quebec), but... Spotify is the king of recommending music. Everytime my playlist ends, it just instantly starts playing music I like, and it wasnt the case for apple music. Also, apple music app on windows sucks
I know, they better show something worth upgrading to the M4 at WWDC. Idk just plz allow iPadOS to have desktop capabilities but they won’t coz that will bleed into macOS
@@VeenitXSheth also, I think you should’ve recommended people to buy the iPad Pro 11. They are still a mile better than the 10th gen iPad that came out recently. iPad Pro has More screen, better camera, more power, more brightness…. I don’t understand why people want the 10th gen.
@@im100percentg price, not everyone can afford a $1000 iPad and one that’s sub-500 seems like a much better offer. Also, I said for the common person, not the power user. The average user probably shouldn’t buy a $1000+ iPad
i dont think apple will depend on Google for its AI No one knows why 20% of Apple's M1 processor power is dedicated to artificial intelligence, when in fact they have been preparing something big for a long time. But they started working on the LLM model only recently after the huge uproar caused by chatgpt
yeah they definitely won't in the long run. There could be a slight chance just for the near future but no, they've definitely been making something big behind the scenes
If you’re talking about the keyboards, it does it automatically. You can’t turn it on or off, it’s a background process that runs at all times. The visual I made was just to give viewers an idea on how it works under the hood
well obviously, its the hitboxes that get bigger. They are the invisible areas your phone uses to determine where a key starts and ends so you won't see them get bigger. You actually never see them at all. What I'm saying is that under the hood, the phone makes the hitboxes (invisible outlines) bigger and smaller depending on your typing habits
What Apple processors will support new AI features in iOS 18? Is the A14 Bionic one of them? The iOS 18 system will support devices from iPhone XS and up, but that doesn't necessarily mean all its features (especially when asking about AI) will be supported on all devices that support iOS 18! The A18 processor will focus on the neural engine core for deep learning AI to support offline AI processing on the phone with the upcoming AI breakthrough in iOS 18. To see the leap in Apple processors, the A16 could perform 17 trillion operations per second with its neural engine cores, while the A17pro can do 35 trillion. Both have 16 cores, but Apple is heavily invested in developing the AI engine cores. A18 will also be a qualitative leap, running large LLM models on the phone without internet connection, which is great. I wonder and hope if these upcoming AI features will be supported by the iPhone 12 mini, which also has 16 neural engine cores but can only produce 11 trillion operations per second.
I honestly don’t know which chips Apple will support. I’m sure they won’t limit the new AI capabilities to just the iPhone 16’s and the A18 chip but I’m not sure how far back they’ll go. My guess would be that they will allow these features on any iPhone that is capable of running iOS 18 as that would be the most fair to users. But we will see in a month or two I guess!
@@VeenitXSheth I don't think so. There are many features in the latest iOS that are not supported by all iphones that run it The AI features that will work on the Neural Engine chip are a different case, as they depend entirely on the neural engine to work offline, which varies greatly from one processor to another. Personally, I think that the A12, A13, and A14 processors will support some light AI features integrated into the system. As for the upcoming revolutionary AI feature, it will only work with A15 and above, because the A15 contains 15 trillion operations per second, which is a big difference from lower processors. Perhaps the rest of the phones that support IOS18 are still able to run this new revolutionary AI, but over the Internet But as I said, my friend, everything will be revealed at the WWDC conference I hope you will upload more similar videos, thank you
fantastic video, the subtle background music added a nice ambiance. a suggestion, include the sources for the statistics when showing them to add some credibility. keep up the excellent work!
Selling a piece of tech that promises to get you unhooked from tech is a scam that needs no explaining. If you want to cut tech out just put your phone away and touch some grass.
Yeah I guess I was basing the research for this video on other sources along with the Humane website itself and to me and in my opinion it seems kinda scummy but I get your point
your first point doesn’t make any sense. the pin helps you “stay in the moment” but not having a screen. you then say this is stupid, because you should be able to see things you’re buying. you’ve completely changed the issue. you then randomly said something about street signs, which also wasn’t relevant? idk man, there are plenty of reasons to dislike this product, but this video doesn’t make sense. you introduce the mrwhostheboss clip as him “asking a question” but he didn’t ask a a question. i could go on. i think you have grossly inflated ideas of how good a product like this should be because of phones. i think you have to remember that A. this is the worst this product will ever be, and B. it will get better as its AI learns more about you.
also, you’re comparing the pin to one of the best consumer products, ever. if you compared the original iphone to the iphone of today, you’d hate the original iphone. the pin is a first gen device from a new company in a new product category. you probably need to let people actually use it before you throw out words like “scam” or “fraud” or whatever
For your first point, yes I did say that the pin helps you stay in the moment. But this wasn’t my statement, rather from the CEO of the company. That is what he said the goal or intended reason of buying the product is. And I said that it not having a screen is a way it does help with achieving that goal. But my overall point with the “see the things you’re buying” was that the world revolves around visuals. The e-commerce part was just an example of that fact. I don’t understand how I’ve changed the issue: one of the biggest issues or criticisms of the device is the fact that it doesn’t have a screen (which makes it harder to use on a daily basis). And the part about street signs, that was relevant to the example I was giving. I was trying to say that the world is built around your eyes and seeing things, and a street sign is an example of that since you have to see to understand what it’s trying to tell you. I don’t know if saying that this video doesn’t make any sense is fair. Plus to your point about how this is the worst this device will be since it’s the 1st version, I completely agree with you. But the point of this video wasn’t about trying to show the future plans of the device and how it could be good in the future, the goal was to show how in its current form, it’s not worth it. And as far as the AI learning more about you as you use it, how does that have anything to do with my points. My issues with the AI on the pin were that is was extremely slow and that it hallucinates far too often.
The only reason I’m comparing it to one of the greatest devices ever being the smartphone is simply because of the fact that this device is trying to be its own standalone thing and trying to “replace” the phone in a sense so comparing it to the phone is a pretty fair argument
You are making fair points but a iPhone still needs a dataplan to use it everywhere like the Ai pin. The only difference is that you can choose your plan for your phone. But the AI pin is WAY over priced with 700 dollars versus like O1 or Rabbit R1 that need NO subscription.
