@@VeenitXSheth just out of curiosity, you mentioned you were in high school, are you in your last year? asking cause I'm graduating high school this year too haha
@@ainbrisk545nope, ive gotten asked this a few times and its shocking to everyone when I say I'm only a freshman. early congrats on graduation! Hang in for just a few more months lol
i think the products really good too, i also coded a startup over the summer and i wish have picked up journaling back then, or even made videos about the process
thanks for watching and thanks for using the product! You can still make videos about your startup, I'm sure you have valuable info that people would love to hear!
at the moment, i don't. This was supposed to be my startup but after launch, I realized that it wasn't going to happen. Plus, this was the first real production-ready application I've built so I wasn't comfortable making money from it. I have another project in the works that is actually super close to launching and that is what I'm going to monetize in the future. But Jotter will continue to stay up as it doesn't cost me anything to run.
Hey I am also a developer , I really liked your project but I have some feedback for you , I think you should allow markdown syntax in your textboxes (bcoz it's a quite a norm in soceitey it will be visually appealing and tech friendly) also are you looking for devs?
Thanks for watching and glad you liked the project! I might add in markdown support but I’m focusing on a much larger project right now so Jotter isn’t my biggest priority. Also, I’m not looking for developers at the moment.
Hmmm cool stuff. But you can't call it a startup by creating a simple journal web app. I have checked it out UI is great. It should have been available in smartphone app atleast.
Yea tbh I clickbaited little bit 😅 but I am working on building out a much larger project with marketing efforts and a mobile app in the future that I’ll be make vids on!
Not really sure if I will since I’m gonna be launching something much bigger soon, but if I had to right now, I would make a newsletter and run ads on it or something maybe a blog. Essentially something indirect from the core app for good UX
lmfao yea Ali Abdaal is in my recommendations a lot. idk, I guess props to him since he knows something about youtube I don't, man is appearing left right and center lol
@@johno4377 I wouldn't say a complete scam artist as some of his advice isn't complete trash, but yes, the goal is to sell you a course which makes him seem very ingenuine
So I’ve decided that instead of monetizing Jotter directly, I’ll prob instead work towards another project I’m supper close to launching that has more effort put into it. As far as Jotter, not really sure so idk if u can really consider it a startup lol
i really appreciate your videos they re really motivating can you release next video on roadmap like how and which language did you code and how did you upscaled your idea cause im struggling rn tooo if you cant upload a video on it can you please get in contact with me im very eager to learn with you please...
Thank you so much for watching! I won’t make any more videos about Jotter specifically but I have another massive project in the works that can be much more valuable so when that is finished, I’ll be sure to make videos about it!
@@VeenitXSheth thankyouuu sooo much soo can i get in contact with you I'll love to learn from you i just need some guidance as I'm planning something tooo.........
