Followed the exact recipe but mine came out sticky regardless of how much borax i used? What am i doing wrong? I am using amazon clear glue, borax is 1tsp:1cup water
What makes contact solution containing some form of boron different from a weak borax activator? Aren’t you just adding activator to the slime if you add the correct kind of contact solution? If that was the case, then every clear slime I use would be coated, because I add activator to all of them to make them less sticky. I’m so confused!
No. In order to activate a slime with contact lens solution you have to also add baking soda to it. Adding just contact lens solution with out baking soda won't activate a slime. You need to use borax and water to activate the slime and once it's activated, let it sit in an air tight container until it clears up. At this point add contact lens solution by itself to the slime until you get the desired amount of coating you want. You have to use the contact lens solution that's meant for storing contacts in. You can't use rewetting drops for contacts or just plain saline solution. If you make a slime by activating it with contact lens solution and baking soda then I don't believe you can coat it after it clears since the contact lens solution may work as an activator since you added baking soda during the activation process.

oh, never mind! i added borax and it came together and felt very nice. It didn't quite look like the video, but me and my dad said we made a new doughy and sandy like slime called "beach slime"
Yall... I used a teaspoon of glycerin in 1 cup of clear glue slime mix.... when mixing it together pre activation it was releasing bubbles like you wouldn't believe lololol Thanks for the vid
Awesome! I'm starting a slime company with my kids for my neighborhood community. It's 5 neighborhoods joined in so we're gonna start with 2 restockes a month and deliver the orders in person. Then we'll see how it goes this summer. I've been hunting down supplie carriers and it's a vast ocean of shops lol one thing I'm stuck on is anime themed supplies. Once I go fully online I'm wanting an anime selection but it's so difficult to find fimo slices in anime. I'm trying to find someone that came make them for me batches that rotate. (If anyone has pointers on that I'd be over the moon)
Cloud slime literally lasts forever it seems lol 😆 It doesn’t melt at all like other slimes. If anything it may start to dry out, but you can fix that with lotion!
