@@TeamActionAngling Oh! I looked it up and see I am talking about the US side of Lake Erie. We have a Grand River here too and the mouth is at Fairport Harbor, Ohio. I didn't realize you were fishing in Canada.
i liked your video. drum, dog fish, catfish, all fun to catch. my guess is you are in southern ontario in a river. 2 questions, first is did they change the law on more than one pole in ontario. second is do you catch any suckers where you are at. i like sucker fishing. i usually catch these other fish as i am sucker fishing. good luck from kalamazoo michigan.
Thank you! So the rule has changed to up to three rods per angler if you are using plant based bait for carp. One rod per angler with conventional baits. However on the great lakes (or lake Erie specifically anyway) you are allowed two rods if fishing in a boat. Glad you enjoyed it!
Love a resi stream carp! We have a creek here in the city with some, very fun. Is there anything more Canadian than a spring perch festival? I dont think so. Kids having fun, community coming together, pickerel rigs dropping, I love to see it.
