Congrats on your first laker. Vertical jigging with a white or pearl tube is my preferred method for catching them. A dream trip would be going to the NW Territories but I'll probably have to settle on fishing Standard Rock on Lake Superior.

Thanks man! We did try jigging tubes the second day but they were short striking them, but in the next episode we do hook up jigging. Now that I've caught them I also want to go explore new places and try for them more often. Lake Superior would be awesome!

Thank you my friend! Nothing beats the buzz when you get a new species! I'm not sure what's next, lol I've pretty much come to the end of the list of my desirables in Ontario. That was the last one. Maybe I'll need to start micro fishing , or just trying to re-catch species in new and dumb ways, lol

@@accessableangling hopefully next year when I visit my parents in Alberta I'll tackle one on the north Saskatchewan River. I tried last time I visited but it was apparently the worst time of year. There's also a type of sucker on the river I want to get!
