You should visit Oman in the summer to a place in Oman called Salalah. It is cold compared to the Arab countries, where the temperature is less than 23 C. It is completely green. The best time is in the month of 8. You must search the Internet for Salalah in order to understand what is being talked about.

I love oman.. The country is clean people are so friendly and I love the fact they have zero high rise buildings.. This country is modern yet left as it should be with beautiful landscapes.

Next time, come in the summer, you will be shocked by the idea that the Middle East is a hot weather in the summer. Oman has a different atmosphere at the same time. 🇴🇲
When is it considered summer for Middle East? I'm kind of used to the heat honestly as in Brazil it get's super hot in the summer as well...I did like going up to the Green Mountain and it was super fresh and cool up there.
Only the southern part of Oman, Dhofar province, Salalah "affected by monsoon winds from Indian Ocean", the north is very hot in summer with average 40c, not recommended unless you're going south or Arab Sea/Indian Ocean coast, hope you enjoyed your visit and thanks for sharing your experience of our beloved country 🙏🏼
Health insurance is typically included with the airline ticket.. however, I suggest a extra layer and get an inexpensive travel insurance policy that covers med vac from Cuba….just in case something happens, your covered.
Nice videography of post-fire Breitenbush. I used to live and work there, and still love to go back. Once correction: the electricity isn't generated from geothermal steam, it is a hydroelectric system that uses diverted river water to make a turbine spin. Geothermal is used for heat, as you mentioned. I recommend going on a Systems Tour next time you are there.
Be aware that not all reviews are like this…. I used pelican 17 for my wedding in October and was scammed out of thousands of dollars from them myself and one of our guests on board also. It took MONTHS of arguing, blocking all credit cards, emails every day to them, numerous bank phone calls and visits and lots of stress to get our money back. THAT HAD NO RIGHT TO BE TAKEN. Ever. Yes while on the boat, the service was good, but waking up to thousands of dollars gone from your account when you paid them in full…. Stressful to say the least for your wedding!!! The way they went about it, proves they do it often to people and probably don’t get caught… so PLEASE be aware and do your research! And watch your bank accounts if using them!

Thank you for refreshing my memory! My late wife Sally Jo drove us from Seattle, WA to Breitenbush in 1987 for our honeymoon. It was one of the best experiences of our lives. And I learned so much from the Breitenbush staff about protecting our old growth forests. -- That was my one trip. Sure wish I could go one more time.
We were only there for a night, but we felt like we had a week of relaxation...that's what I love about it! No work, no phones, pure disconnection and a great way to clear the mind
Been going to Breitenbush for over 10 years, helped with the rebuild of the Fire Department building a few years before the last fire. Was just there two weeks ago with the wife. A few things have changed that really bothered me. first is the employees have a total different attitude, they all seem less happy and not enjoying themselves as much as before. The food is still pretty good but far less creative but it’s included so that is a plus. The new cabins that replaced the original ones are so cheaply built you can hear the conversation’s through the wall like you are in the same room. They have decided to keep the ugly “container” on wheels on the property to keep the rooms for rent. It has zero resemblance to the original aesthetics of the property. I was there when it was housing for the employees and workers trying to rebuild and was told it was temporary. It is hideous and an eye sore. They now sell coffee and weird snacks which were all a no no before because it was a place to cleanse your body, now they gladly sell it:/ I feel the soul of Breitenbush is gone or on hiatus and the current crew doesn’t hold the same values. My wife is still in love with the place and we will continue to go monthly but I will be there wondering when will Breitenbush bring back the old school Vibes. ✌️
thanks for the comment...I only visited the previous breitenbush once with my dad about 20 years ago and don't remember it much as I was only 13 or so, although we would have loved to see what it was really like before the fires...we still had a blast though.
