Watch us restore a 1972 Chevy Nova from start to finish on camera in our Rustorations Series, fun thing is I have never done this before at least not of this scale. Going to learn how to do it and film it all for the series.
On this channel you are going to see videos dedicated to capturing the glory of classic cars, but also tell the stories of a new generation of car enthusiasts. My name is TrooperMax, I'm a car enthusiastic and filmmaker from Canada. Since I was a kid I've been addicted to anything with four wheels and I've made it my mission to bring to you the best classic car content. With that said I created Between the Wheels to capture the stories and share them with the world before they're gone.

This was a sizable event with many aspects to it, yet you captured so much of what it was like to be there. You got the fun, the camaraderie, the personal touches and the excitement of old time drag racing. These events are not easy to plan ahead for, but you made up a laundry list and winged it and as a result you nailed it Buddy. That, my friend, takes guts and talent. This piece is ready for broadcast! 👍👍

Thanks for the kind words Blayne I am certainly happy we were able to capture the spirit of what the event was about. But thats all thanks to people like yourself for making it happen. I could certainly sense a hint of excitement and seeing the guys/gals getting into it will only make it grow bigger and bigger. Was awesome to see guys like Rob say he wasnt going to run and he ended up melting his tires just for the crowds delight. I can really see this growing every year hopefully next year it will be bigger/better. All the best

@@SubdivisionAuto A example of different times, I have owned Chevelle's purchased for $300. & $700. that grandma grocery getters mint, just all stock. My preference though have been '68 Firebirds (4 of them) they were plentiful, and at the time weren't as in demand as the Camaro, Two of the four were actually given to me for the price of hauling them out of the previous owners yards!! Needless to say I always had spare parts. I t blows me away today when I see what people are asking for them today even one's I would've considered scrap back then. (LOL)

Try to punch all your holes on your flanges before you spray the welding primer so when you do new spot welds there will be enough zinc to fill in the weld spot. And “Mastercoat” is proven to be a way better product for frame coating and inner panel coating etc. good work sir. 💯

There is nothing stupid about protecting yourself. As a fabricator myself I learned quickly from my elders who's health are in danger do to not protecting their lungs, eyes, skin (flash burns), hearing and knees. Yes knees. Wear knee pads and get yourself a good quality mobile stool. Just my 2 cents but trust me, 20 years from now you will see the benefit compared to those who didn't consider all of the available protection. Your project is looking good and for not ever attempting this you are heading in a positive direction with it.
