I believe how you feel is even more important than what you know when speaking English. That is why I tell true stories from my experience coaching English, give advice and share tips to help you feel more motivated and confident when communicating in English.
My videos cover practical topics to improve your level of English, while always keeping in mind personal challenges related to confidence that you will face as you improve your skills.
My favourite lesson topics are about how to learn English, as well as tips and advice for shy speakers of English.
You know, I just keep coming back to your video, I’ve been trying to get these symbols and sounds into my head. I really want to be able to read an IPA word for French pronunciations. You just somehow or another ring the bell and I can make the associations, and I so appreciate your effort. I also see it as a long-term investment when after French I start on Italian language.

Interesting video on the history, especially 1066 and the Norman Conquest, I read also that the upper class/royalty from France wanted to differenciate from the peasant folks , so a lawyer became Attorny, pig became pork, is this correct Jade ? Subscribed today , also what part of England are you from ? I like your presentation, unpretentous and sort of spontaneous ,chers and beers !
Thanks for explaining lucidly, appreciate it....i'm still a bit confused about the british pronunciation because many native english speaking trainers on youtube claim, that the british pronunciation is " ˈʃedʒ.uːl ", even cambridge dictionary mentions it as " ˈʃedʒ.uːl " for british, surprisingly oxford dictionary mentions it as " ˈʃedjuːl " for british.....please help and clear which one is unequivically correct ?
Also, you think, maybe, fumbling, i dont know kind of words in your teaching…. Plz go learn how to teach first unless you are master of what you are teaching …. YOU ARE A ZERO LEVEL OF A TEACHER WITH LESS KNOWLEDGE AND LESS OF ETHICS AND LACK OF MANNERS
You are so rude while teaching… making fun of non english …. Why dont you people forget about you are no more Kings of the earth…. Your so called present king is the one who divorced his wife while caught on cheating on her… moreover… if you have so much differences in written and spoken language then learn to make your language on a right path instead of teaching world that it is written like that and pronounce like that… forget about your language is anymore important to rest of the world its a big list of options now 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks a lot for you class from Britain to the Brazil. Thanks a lot, Jade. I prefer English lesson with you. As a matter of fact, to communicate in terms of a grammar or just put in words in your thought. But this is not easy, because you can make mistake. And when you put in words wrongly this can be understood like somebody unpolite or another thing could sound this guy is miserable about English. Thanks a lot for you word and dedication to this mission.
Why do you dress differently on this channel than on the other one called Jade Joddle? Do you drop your binca because it's borrowed? (Do the ENGVID wardrobe managers dress you?) I follow the videos a lot, thank you.
I'm like 8 years old to this video. Yes, great video. Agree with you 100%. I believe listening can be useful -- but I think it's probably most efficient to start with reading or some kind of starter course -- to build up your vocabulary. I think listening when you have almost no vocab is pretty worthless. Once you build up a decent vocabulary then I think listening should be one of the things on your list -- but not starting.
hi ma'am, my name is Abubakar, I'm from Nigeria,I have been watching your videos since, but this is my first comment, God bless you ma'am, from your student Abubakar.
