@@ChillnVibe17 Didn't know about O'Hare lol, maybe I'll drop an app with them too... First recruiter to get back to me wins too Just checked their website, not hiring for fish processors, welp looks like I'm stuck waiting on Ocean peace to call me back
I’m gonna go on a vessel from American seafood now on July and the paid supposedly are approximately 4k$ to 7k$ monthly depends of quantity of fish for 6 months. it's a good option?
did you prefer overall prefer working on land plant or boat vessel in terms of workload and also pay scale food etc....????? which do you think is better longterm??
That looks like the perfect day for fishing too. I’ve been out to Seals Rock in Alaska fishing for halibut. Great time because the weather was nice. I used to fish commercially in Florida. I was the first to get sea sick every time. (8) surgeries on my (R) ear never helped me on the ocean. I still went out though. I could never handle the Seas in Alaska. You might as well add me to one of the bait traps, I’d die in 20’-30’ Seas! Thanks for sharing your experience with The World.
@@yougetonthathorseyougottar6126 animals feed their young without the need for 1 dollar. But when we rely on gov who prints the dollar more sinister things are going on. We can actually live free but we're conditioned and taught slavery is the only way
@@Confidential619I heard it's 16 hours a day 7 days a week is that true? And could I choose a position where I'm not the one killing the fish. There squirms and wobbling freak me out.
I’m interested in getting in the business I wanted to be a dock hand but it seem that you need experience to apply for a post like that; do you need any experience as a processor. I literally have no true experience with being on a boat , the only experience is what I learned from boot camp when I was in the navy. I need help😅. I’m not sure what I can qualify for.
I’m finna leave in a few days to my first vessel. Been searching RU-vid a lot just to get the best idea of what to expect and this is the best video I’ve come across so far. Straight on the job footage, informative without saying a word, much appreciated 👌🏽
Is this a job that can get you out of working customer service jobs forever? I’ve worked retail long enough and am at a burnout breaking point dealing with customers. lol
Same... been doin retail and customer service for 2 years now. Might not seem like a long time, but i really want out. Might be the odd one out of here, but i actually kinda enjoy the labor-intensive jobs. Not havin to deal with people and gettin paid big $$$ to work on a boat and away from people? Fucking sign me up.
@@mirphus7413 I don’t blame ya I want out of retail too. Been working retail for 5 years now that might not be considered long either for some people. But it feels like a decade I like to work hard which I can do in retail but the customers and sometimes coworkers make it more stressful. Especially when you have coworkers in cliques that leave you out of everything it feels like High school all over again. But I’m sure cliques can be at every job.
@ryancentnarowicz mate, that's literally what I'm dealing with right now. A lot of asinine bs going on at my current job that just makes it feel like inane petty high school drama. All my co-workers (the 4 other people i work with mind you) all act like best friends inside and outside of work. But yet they leave me completely in the dark with everything. They all say they care and like me, but at the same time it feels like I'm not wanted there. I've tried talking about it several times with the chick that keeps pullin the crap with me. But she just tells me to "go away" 90% of the time I'm there whether it's work related or not. Makes work a lot more difficult to deal with than it needs to be. And we have a lot of downtime at our work.
