I think that this video is extremely informative and is easy to understand. Your chord diagrams and tabs on screen helps a ton; but PLEASE stop BEGGING and interrupting the lessons. I'm only 9 minutes in and I'm seriously considering just not watching any more because of your constant interruptions asking me to do this, do that, pay for this, pay for that. If I want to subscribe, I will. If I want to like the video, I will. You don't have to mention it every 2 minutes. I know that it helps with getting you more views to drive engagement with the audience, but there are far more elegant and tasteful ways to do it than this. I appreciate that you are out here spreading your knowledge to the wider world for free, I respect it a lot, but doing this all the time is going to drive away people that otherwise would have stayed.
Tbh super helpful to someone who struggles to improvise after 15 years I think i Have some sort of musical deficiency because I try so hard and it just doesn’t click for me what should sound good.
These chords shouldn’t be hard for anyone who wants to be good at music theory or guitar for that matter. I used to get these chords as homework during college and hade to practice sooo many hours a day and learn to improvise to them
Why does your Metronome beat so slowly at 75 BPM? Each beat takes over a second. It should have a beat in less than a second. I’m trying to do this drill and I’m not understanding the riddle of the metronome. I am up to 110 BPM at two notes per beat using the Pentatonix scale. I started at 60 BPM and have been moving up five BPM each time. How many notes per beat should I be aiming for? you seem to be hitting about four notes per beat at 75 BPM but your 75 BPM seems very slow
Eric thank you! Since I have been learning from your lessons on You tube my guitar playing has improve dramatically. Your approach to Blues Jazz is quite unique in that there's so much information easily absorbed and incorporated into my playing. I have for a very long time wanted to learn but did not want to spend so much time in music theory. Your lessons are easy and straight to the point!
