I am family medicine resident physician who enjoys the outdoors and working with my hands. My videos are a little of this and a little of that. Pretty much whatever strikes me. Sometimes it's things just to be generally helpful and other times it's just because it's been a while and I think something will make an interesting video. Thanks for checking out my channel.

I HATE automotive engineers. They are the most impracticle people on the EARTH!!! I really really want and engineer to WORK on the vehicles they design. I'll be they would stop making failable parts buried in the engine!! Try finding this part: Coolant temperature sensor on a 2017 Ford Expedition. It's hidden under the intake manifold!!! You, literally, have to remove the entire top of the engine to get to it!! I replaced the coolant overflow reservoir (which was expensive because the awesome engineers made it part of the air filter holder) and the hose that connects to that reservoir. OMG!!! It took forever to get the old one out and new one in!!! I'm not surprised that they hid the AC sensor UNDER the vehicle!! Gotta love em!!

youll find when youve allowed the box to cool sufficiant , there will be accumulation of ash on top of the baffles at the exit pipe. it will be funnel shaped and can obstruct the flow after a few months use depending on the quality of wood being burned.slide the baffles out the front with care n clean your welcome
@theinternets7516

I haven't had any flow obstruction from this but there is definitely some fly ash accumulation on top of the baffles every year when I clean it.

This is for pre '97 models. The 97 and up use radio frequency rather than IR. I think you can also program those yourself but you'd need to find a 97+ owners manual for the instructions.

This isn't vacuum sealing anything.
@theinternets7516
@theinternets7516 Год назад
I guess it would technically be an evacuation since you're using a liquid to apply pressure to a gas and force it out of the container as opposed to using a pump to pull the air out of the bag. It does give good results based on my experience with it though. I got tired of fooling around with it and eventually bought a vacuum sealer but it was good enough when I didn't have one.

Thats a great saw! I just bought one to replace the old Stihl. (Couldn't afford its modern equivalent.) I've felled and bucked 3 big oaks and 1 maple so far and I'm actually VERY impressed! I'd love to hear how yours is holding up.

It's been five years and who's knows how many cords of firewood and I've had zero issues. I keep the chain sharp and break it down every 10-15 hours for a good cleaning and it's still running perfect. I love it. I was impressed enough with it that six months ago when I decided I needed a second smaller saw I went with echo again and got a 361P. I'm just as happy with it as I have been with the 620. This saw really sold me on echo equipment. Since buying it I've also bought an echo backpack blower and string trimmer and they're both fantastic. In my opinion, "Made in Japan" is the way to go.

I have a HUGE sycamore tree in my yard that we’ll be cutting down soon. I’ve got a buddy that use to be a logger and he swears not to ever burn it in the house because it’s toxic. I can’t find that info anywhere have you ever heard that before? As much as I hate to say I’m assuming he’s just incorrect. Did you notice a different in creosote or anything like that in your chimney after burning?
@theinternets7516
@theinternets7516 Год назад
I seasoned it for 18 months. It was very dry and burned well. It's a good shoulder season wood. Shorter burn times and less heat output but for days in the 40s it's good wood to burn so you can save your higher btu woods for colder days and nights. I've never heard that it's toxic.
