Yea we all been there . Sad day for sure . I seen guys lose big fish with nets , seen em come undone while boat flipping and seen guys lose em grabbing em . You’re the lucky one when you hook a giant , she is the lucky one when she gets away .
There are absolutely no studies that show bass are feeding up for winter. They cannot store unsaturated fats like warm blooded creatures because they do not need to feed up to put on fat to use as a fuel source to stay warm or as insulation. I think smaller feeding windows, schooling up of bass chasing spawning minnows and die off of vegetation among other things are making it seem that way.
@@briantix7693 Ya, it can be fun! I have noticed on FF sonar that when I get a bass chasing my lure it often times does not strike until one or more buddies show up. The competition for food might be another trigger when they are schooled up in the fall.
Hey can you do a video about the summer to fall transition in northern lakes? Lots of the info about this is for southern reservoirs so I’d love to see a norther version! I bet it would get a lot of views!
Right except Minnesota actually has a standard size to meet to call it a lake. So remove all those ponds you call lakes and you end up with less lakes than Minnesota.
Hell yeah I need a Minnesota fisher RU-vid channel. I'm used to fishing on the Gulf Coast and I keep getting skunked up here. Got to learn how to do it.
Do you mostly flip shallower grass when doing this (where you can see the bottom with your eyes) or more out deeper where all you can see is the tops of the weeds?
@@samrardinfishing thank you for the reply!! Ive done this out deep the past year and its my favorite but never done it shallower. Ill have to give it a try!!
