Hi from France. P4 Peugeot swap engine with the Daewoo Musso 2.9TD (2000-2004). Type 5 cylinders Diesel (120 HP). Upgrade the power with around 40 HP more. Peugeot type XN8 4 cylinders diesel engine ,it's only 79 HP Thanks for your video
If you notice, we refer to the word jeep as a generic description for an off road vehicle.. not as a brand name. If Its capitalised letters then that's a brand..lower case not so; ' the term "jeep" continues to be used as a generic term for vehicles that are suitable for use on rough terrain'. I hope this clarifies the english terminology for you. Thanks for you observation.
Ps. We also place the word between apostrophes on the screen, to help with people's understanding.. e.g. we are not quoting the brand. I hope this helps.
Sure no problem. I'm not that fussed with people using my content. What annoying is the constant false claims on us using other people's content..its a complete industry of xxxxxxx trying it on constantly...
What was the Fardier used for. And yes I too would like to see the inside of the AML 90. The Chieftain does a great job with military vehicle walk arounds, on the bright side you don't need to talk about track tension with the AML 90😅
Could I put in a request for an almost "chieftans hatch" style video on your AML-90 turret? There isnt much on the inside of those things and he only got to cover the 60. Would love to see what the inside looks like, how tight it is, etc. Love the stuff you guys put out. Got my 90 + mantlet in too!
6:58 "twelve and a half liter" ? Nope. 6 x 53 cui per cylinder is 318 cubic inches, which is about 5.22 litres in metric. The nomial power is 275 bhp (as used on the US M113A3). The NATO-certified rating is 350 bhp. Thanks for sharing !
Good morning, the 602cc engine which this is produces 29 horse power. The 2 horse power was a French taxation class related to the earliest 375 cc engine.
i loooove this vehicle i find it so genious. i love tiny light vehicles with big guns and the french did a ton at this time! this is one of the best ones! known to be crazy fast! this one turned on so easy, like new, you guys are awsome 💙
I run a museum primarily dedicated to Canadian artillery gaving heen an Instructor-in-Gunnery in the Royal Regiment of Canadian Artillery for 44 years. We fire blanks from a number of our cannon. I would love to see a detailed video on how you prepare and fire your blanks. As we say in Québec, "Salut!" Mike 🫡😁👍👍🍁🍁🍁
"countryside biscuit" technically yes, but i'm pretty sur campagne mean "campaign" and not "countryside" here. very enjoyable video, great work on that.
Many folks from either camp believe their vehicle is better than the other. I own a Jeep Wrangler and a Series 2A Landy and love both. Not rivals but cousins from across the pond.
The machine guns AA 52 bought for Argentina were 7,62x51 mm NATO (like FAL and MAG). Congratulations, you did an outstanding job. This armoured car looks like new. Colonel (R) Gustavo Adolfo Tamaño.
There were 12 Panhard Armoured Cars - 8 from the "Destacamento de Exploración de Caballería Blindada 181" - "181st Armoured Cavalry Scout Detachment (Esquel), 2 from the "Escuadrón de Exploración de Caballería Blindada 9" - "9th Armoured Cavalry Scout Squadron", and 2 from the "Escuadrón de Exploración de Caballería Blindada 10" (Río Mayo)- "10th Armoured Cavalry Scout Squadron" (La Tablada). Organization: Squadron HQ: two armoured cars - 1st Troop (Aguila - Eagle) five armoured cars - 2nd Troop (Cobra - Cobra) fiver armoured cars. Total number of armoured cars: 12 (twelve). I was in command of the 1st Troop of Armoured Cars (Águila - Eagle) during the war. Sincerely yours, Colonel (R) Gustavo Adolfo Tamaño,
Maybe the best presentation in english of this particular vehicle. Were did you get the ERC-90 ? I'm really curious as it is still used in various armies AFAIK.
Thanks. The vehicle is an ex 'demonstration vehicle' as used at the Satory exhibitions. Therefore we were able to purchase as it isn't a desirable model (early and petrol) so is not suitable for modern combat..
Excellent video! I am surprised about how much is manually operated on this vehicle! Do you guys have any manuals for the gun? I stumbled upon an incomplete one + mantlet here in the US that was mislabeled as a 25 pounder for some reason and I would like to clean it up
@@fargmotorpool I haven't gotten to pick it up yet, but my usual when getting an aquisition like this is trying to dissassemble (inevitably) frozen parts, clean off corrosion and reoil/grease to prevent any further degradation. I was hoping to ask about the breech mechanism and likely the recoil cylinders etc when that happens if you wouldn't mind.
Though air fed is best, you can buy a carbon filter mask from 3m and others that will cover you for short term use with 2k, cellulose lacks the toughness of 2k and is pretty harmful to your kidneys and liver, even better for chassis work is 2 pack epoxy, Jotun Jotamastic 90gf (developed for boat hulls) is excellent and doesn't require the best prep, it's also available in the full RAL colour range. 👍
