Patrick used this song to have his third and fourth graders practice their cursive handwriting. I believe I still have a page somewhere, from 1978-9. It makes me cry now, missing him. How lovely to have it here where I can listen to his beautiful voice whenever I want to.
This scene was so f"in funny! My husband fixed our toilet this weekend. He tells me I know I can get the job... but can I do the job 😅 I almost wet my pants! 😅😅😅
i was just a 9 year old kid in croatia....the year was 1991. and the war just broke out with serbia. i was about to go to the train as my parents sent me to our family in switzerland. and this movie was just on as i watched it packing my bags. this opening titles theme got imprinted in me for life and it played in my head for years as it perfectly helped me cope and summerize the ambience i felt in my country there in the beggining of war during blackouts... and to cope with those unknown intense feelings of fear and unpredictability of war. pure masterpiece
