I think I’ve only commented on anything on RU-vid 1-2 times ever but I have to let you know how much I really appreciate your honesty in this video!! I have poor concept of time so most projects I see that appear so called simple or easy and supposedly a one day or just a few hours end up taking me a week or more to complete. I always fail to realize how much videos are edited and end up frustrated at my “Fun” project and it turns into work I just want done with!! Thank you for saying how long the actual project took you and that besides the dinner fiasco you worked on it straight through!! Now when I’m ready to start this project I’ll have a clear idea that it will 1-2 weeks while watch TV project!!! Thank you!!!

If the saw was shut down but the blade was still spinning, would the SawStop function as expected or would the blade guard have been what saved the day here?

I have a CRAZY window--->85 inches wide and 12 inches long under my kitchen cabinets that faces south and gets really hot in the summer. I want to make a soft Roman shade there with a black out lining. The prices of even a pleated shade is ridiculous!!! THANK YOU FOR THIS!

Why do these roman shades tutorials never show the shade in the down position, or operating in any way. If you want fabric stuck at the top of your window, buy a valance
@katsato3118
@katsato3118 Месяц назад
1. People that use them know what they look like down, like any other shade pulled down. 2. It's a look 3. Not everyone enjoys a valance 😂 4. Try to be kind. Remember the golden rule!

Thanks for telling your story. My injury, two months ago now, was so similar to yours, except that I cut my thumb off between my thumbnail and joint, so the stub (being 72 years old, i decided not to have them reattach the tip for cosmetic purposes) has movement and feeling. At the one month anniversary of my amputation, I decided that I have more money than thumbs -- so ordered a SawStop...my wife will sleep better knowing that she won't be asked to go down to my shop and look for my thumb.

My boxsprings were vandalized by my landlord, who illegally enters and vandalizes my apartment all the time. The Housing could care a less. The manager says, "I was told not to respond to your letters of complaint" Ivam in a Section 8 apt with a federal poverty level income. I cannot afford to leave this corrupted state. But I do what I can to be positive, including making unmonitized, not monitored, no cookies blogs. Copy what you want. Also on Twitter, #SunriseCT may interest people. You're the answer to my prayers! 💙🙏 I can order the pieces from Home Depot, have them delivered and put it together. One thing I need to add though, are legs. It will serve as a frame and boxspring. 😊

Wood is much different to a wall surface, it will tend to bleed no matter what tape you use. The lower tack of the painters tape helps reduce pulling up of existing paint whilst removing. That said it should be the same price as regular masking tape 😏

I LOVE your fabric too. Gorgeous. But, please, please P-L-E-A-S-E press your fabric before you cut anything. To not do this, is a near sure fired way to have the project NOT turn out. Number one rule of sewing anything is to properly prep fabric which inclues pressing it and removing wrinkles.

I used masking tape on my wall (all I had), and it pulled up my paint in huge chunks. So maybe I should just spend more time and hand paint my lines instead of the tape.

You only buy utility oak if you're going for the utility oak look. If you're buying utility oak and thinking you're going to get premium oak out of it on the cheap, you are sincerely an idiot.

100% Linen fabric also shrinks....so does cotton......you don't sew do you? Sorry...you don't know what your talking about as far as this fabric.......any fabric you leave outside in humidity will mildew. If they mildewed IN your house....you got bigger problems. Pre-wash as this fabric does shrink and throw off lint.....so what.....I took off the bulky seams, serged, made a proper hem......they are great.

Its funny/annoying when everything could be cleared up with 'Cut the crap or we contact the police' Especially when 2nd brother is a lawyer, no need for schemes. The internet is a thing send a photo of the the actual sister to all the employees. And the head maid whose worked for the family for years, she'll have to be fired because no way would I keep on someone whose letting their daughter steal their identity. For her years of work just buy her a nice house in the countryside give her a little money.
