Mine has a switch on BOTH sides of the door but the video shows, on the inside of the MW, that the two switches are together? On mine, the left switch seems ok, the right switch won't go all the way in. Does that mean it's not functioning?
Have you had any problems with the shift actuator? I keep getting AB actuator shift differential pressure .intermittent problems. Took to dealer, could not find problems, any advice?
Thank you so much for this video! I was able to save $1000 (at least) by replacing a cracked wet end myself. Spa place wanted $700 for a new pump and $120/hr. labor. I fixed the problem with a $75 wet end and $30 of tools. The hardest part was getting the size right.
I've been an appliance tech for 12 years. I finally started my own business 3 years ago. One of the many perks I enjoy being my own boss is I never have to work on those piece of crap Whirlpool, and Kitchenaide combo oven and microwaves again. They are over engineered and the microwave does not conform to the normal diagnosis used on OTR units. I encourage other techs to follow my lead so Whirlpool just might stop making them....., or at least redesign them like GE which rarely fails, and when it does, it's much easier to diagnose.as it's basically a separate microwave mounted above the oven then just the control board is separate instead of Whirlpool that often has 5 frichen control boards and that one fuse that's buried on the right interior. WHY bury a fuse that deep??? OK. rant over.
Nice video. I have the exact same year and OB as you though I keep my boat in the water 6 months of the year. I was told that when you use the flush port, the engine should be off and does not matter if the engine is down (out of the water) or up, when the boat is in the water. And was told by Mercury that the engine does not have to be warm to flush (when using the flush port). Though if using motor muffs, then the engine would need to be started. Just curious, did you receive different guidance? Thanks
I’ve always used the flush port to warm the engine. I just followed what my manual said. I guess if Mercury told you other wise I would listen to them. 🤷🏼♂️
Thanks for posting. I just did my oil on my 200HP merc. For the lower unit, is it a different adaptor for the pump to replace the gear oil? I will be doing this part tomorrow.
i am going to check the fuse right now we lost power and when it came back on our oven didnt work like yours but the control panel was very very hot to touch could this be the issue as well
@@thorrepairs6557 fuse was good.. either control board or front panel got fried.. power went off when cooking and when the power came back on the front of the control panel got super hot... the control board i can not buy anymore and the front control panel is $600 anywhere i look.. the miss's of the houses wants to go ahead and get a new one.. thanks for the tip though..
Thanks for posting. Easy to follow and eased my anxiety doing both. I couldn’t find anything on our engines, everything was a ProXS or Verado Planning on doing one for LP fuel filter and impeller? 😉
I think those bench seats are becoming a thing of the past. I do enjoy mine on my 08 ram 1500 big horn but have been looking at the rebels lately and I love em.
My oven went out 2 days ago. Watched your video and ordered a part for my Whirlpool oven (model# WOS51ECOASO4) and it showed up in 24 hours. I put it on and I`m back in business. Thanks a lot for saving me several hundred $$$. You`re the MAN!! Part cost me 21 dollars on Amazon.
I have it up and through the pipe. It then attaches to the starlink dish. I taped the cable so it doesn’t unplug. It then routes into my house through my roof.
Thor…your video has been very helpful deciding on what to purchase. There are so many options available. My concern was to have them up tight to the rockers. This rebel is my wife’s truck and she is worried about slipping on the board. Can you comment on this plz ? Another question is if they have a lot of flex ? Thanks for making this video !
I am getting error codes on my microwave and read a comment from a technician that makes total sense - he said that If the door switches are not functioning no other repair you make will prove to be effective. To this point, i suspect that my problem is my actuator switch - there are two small black buttons on the inside frame of the microwave door that get activated when the door is closed. The switch on the left side of my microwave can easily be pushed in with your finger, however, that is not the case for the button on the right hand side. Would you be so kind and tell me if both of your switches are easily be pressed in with your finger? If so then its only a matter of reconnecting this piece and mkg sure that the little spring is attached. There are several videos that show how to do this. Just hoping you can save me a lot of effort tearing apart this microwave! Thanks in advance!
They both can be pressed in easily. They should have a clicking sound when you push them in. One of mine didn’t make the clicking sound and had basically no resistance when pushing it in. That was the faulty switch. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

Do you have a video on replacing the microwave drive motor? Ive looked down into the hole where the drive motor shaft is supposed to be and there is nothing. Looks like I'll need to disassemble the using
I had the error on the oven unit and replaced with a new touch panel. Now the error is back again. Do you have any suggestions? It took 3 months just to get a new panel given back order.
We had a tech come and look at it. apparently the seller (FB marketplace) lied to us about the MW working. Looks like the cabinet had been opened in an attempt to repair it and they discovered that the motor was not accessible even after removing the side panel. So the next question is can the MW unit be used as a convection oven without the turntable being functional?
I’m sorry to hear about your microwave. I’ve honestly never used mine as a convection oven so I’m not sure if you can still use it as that. I would think you could. Sorry I’m not much help.
i just got a used 2021 rebel night edition. love the full sunroof got the auto steps. no ram boxes. i actually do not like the 4x4 auto. im allways in 2x4. rarely use 4 hi. i actually thunk my back seats are nit heated i now have to double check lol
I had already called the repairmen at G&G appliance repair when I spotted this video. Fortunately, G&G in their incompetence, had forgotten to dispatch anyone so I ordered the fuse from Amazon and repaired my Whirlpool oven myself following this terrific video. The oven works great!! Interesting that reading the various factory manuals and calling the manufacturer as well didn't provide this simple fix. Thor Repairs is wonderful

Thanks for the video. I have a 17 year old Frigidaire wall oven. It has power, but neither the broiler or bake element work. Following your video, I removed the thermal fuse and used a "Continuity tester" to test the fuse. The light lit up, so presumably the fuse is not the problem (I think). Any ideas what to do next?
I am no appliance repair man but I would go through and look for other fuses. There should be other cylindrical type fuses that you can do the same test on.
Quick question. How hot does your pump get when it’s running? I have the exact same pump. I’ve replaced the impeller and seal (due to it leaking). It now runs nice but when I touch the motor body it’s red hot. Should it run that hot? Any help is appreciated

Not sure if you use the self cleaning mode... I learned the hard way, I will never use the cleaning mode ever again, it cooks the control panel... hello easy off oven heavy duty oven cleaner, it works great and saves your oven
It’s called a commdeck satellite dish mount. I had it installed before I shingled my roof almost 10yrs ago. It allows you to have cables come through and mount the pole to the commdeck rather then screwing it directly to the roof. They sell them Amazon.
