Why is something that looks so easy turn out impossible to do? Our PCv has something between it and the valve cover. I think it was called a gromlet. But my guess is the gromlet melted and welded itself into the valve cover and the blue PCv. So how to get this mess out/off the valve cover?????
It is worth mentioning that you should check with a Honda dealer parts department on what exact plugs your vehicle takes. This is done by using the VIN number when speaking with the parts department. I say this because my Honda Accord takes the NGK IZFR6K-13 plugs gapped at .052 and not the NGK IZFR6K-11 plugs, gapped at .044. This is because my car is a SULEV and PZEV model. The car and emission system and tuning were designed for this plug. Without using the VIN to check I would not have realized this because NGK's site lists both plugs for a 2007 Honda Accord.
how would you know how much refrigerant to put in there if you don't know what's in the system presently? to properly do this job, it requires a machine that will pump out all the refrigerant and then put in what's in the spec for a particular vehicle
Hey man thanks for the video but quick question. My 2003 Ford F-150 Air Conditioning works but it doesn’t give out cold air though, only warm. Is there anyway that I could maybe fix it?
I honestly didn't know that caliper pisten screwed in and out. I've always had and worked on cars that were just straight in and out. I popped the brake reservoir lid off and just used a flat screw driver to screw it back in. Went smooth. Thank you.
Just had this happen on my 5th wheel trailer. com Turns out myGMC has a 20 amp fuse in the main fuse box under the hood. I changed the fuse and now have marker lights again
Just did the same job on my 08 f150. However, the rotor/hub assembly would not turn very freely after being torqued down. The passenger side rotated perfectly free as yours did in the video. Any ideas why my driver side will barely spin once the axle nut is torqued to 300ft lbs? Both sides were tested without brakes installed. I did use a torque wrench. Not an impact.

Practically no one bothers with removing the little drain plug on the oil filter housing. I never do. If it ain't leaking, its fine. Just go straight to removing the entire housing. Save time.
I got mine done and have a tip to share for getting the bottom cover back into the steering wheel assembly. Looking at the top of the flange that needs to be inserted, notice the excess of flange beyond the hooks at the top. Leaving the hooks, cut off the excess following a line that will leave only half of the flange at the bottom. It will then snap into place easily without compromising the integrity of the piece.
I drove a 1997 ford f150 4×4 stepside with a 4.6 engine for 475k. Regular maintenance and motorcraft semi synthetic oil every 5k mile. Tranny started to shudder and blew a head gasket after 15 years of driving out of state to work.
Great job! You do better with one hand while shooting video than I'll be able to do with my 76 year-old mitts, but you've convinced me I should be able to get the job done without pulling the steering wheel. I really didn't want to mess with that.

I’m getting uneven vent air conditioning temperatures. The passenger side seems to be fine. But the drivers side is blowing warm air. My drivers side actuator goes up smooth and effortless for heat however for the ac it goes down far enough for the air to blow but hesitates and stops. Does that indicate that it’s stuck and the actuator is bad???
I have a 12' PJ utility trailer that on drivers side the front running light on trl. and the running light on its front fender do not light up with two different vehicles. All the other running lights work on that side and other side including rear lights function. Do I have a ground problem or wire problem? Any advice?
@@thomasfixit7931 Yes the very front drivers side marker light and the front marker light on the wheel well fender don't work. But the DS rear wheel well marker light on fender and DS rear marker light and ALL the other lights work. So 6 total out of the 8 side lights and all of the other rear lights and blinkers work.
Could you use a floor jack to pry the swaybar up? Have a 2001 F150 I got from my dad when he passed a couple years ago and the linkages need to be replaced.
