Thank you so much for this video. Just trying to get by in this economy so I wanted to do detailing. Watching other youtubers keep telling you to buy the expensive stuff. Here you are being straightforward and telling me what I really need. Thank you very much.
Do you think a grommet or something to keep the house from rubbing in the sharp edge of the metal reel? I'm thinking of the house jumping from the hose knocking everytime you start the washer
The reason you have so much over spray and fogging is because you are using way too high of pressure. It’s called an HVLP spray gun. (High volume, low pressure) Get that air pressure cut way down then tune your flow and fan. You’ll find far less overspray.
Thank you so much for this video. It helps me a lot who is new for car washing at home. can you recommend right orifice size for this ryobi washer? for 40 degree. I am thinking 40 degree 4.0 orifice for safe use.
I really like Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer Cleaner, but at $6 a bottle, it is expensive. Will Super Clean 10:1 get me the same results, and be safe on the interior?
It worked great for about 5 washes until the o-rings in the 90 deg. fitting blew out. This fitting is designed for 300 psi and I was using my 1800 psi electric washer. I even replaced the o-rings thinking they may have been old and dried out but the same thing happened. Do you know of a replacement pressure washer fitting that is a direct replacement?
I Just Detailed my NEW TRUCK, And I'am Gonna Spray this Crap ALL OVER Everything, Including my Freshly Detailed TRUCK / PAINT / Window's / Rim's Etc etc etc???? NA, I don't think so. Great Idea, For some folks. Not happening over here!!!
Flow rate… They are max 1.5-2.5. Over that you are overpowering the filtration. I mostly rinse-less wash now, so I use two RV filters in line. Chlorine to mineral. I’m usually 64 ppm at tap, nothing changes on full blast from the spigot. But, if I throttle down the flow rate, I get down to 0-1ppm. I just make 10-15 gallons at a time.
Great information Stay Slick! I can't wait to try this, especially for glass. I will buy/use Superior Products Wire Wheel Magic with varying ratios, 4:1, 3:1, etc. The traditional water spot removers out there doesn't remove the heavily etched-in water spots that has been baking for months at a time.
I have a gas powered power washer, I want to put it in my truck but when using it, I think it is too loud. I want to get an electric power washer. Do you recommend the switch?
I don't really see the difference between this and an air chuck. I have several regular air chucks and some high volume air chucks. You can buy all sorts of air chucks and/or air chuck attachments that don't cost anywhere near these prices. Then if i want to use the canister style to spray liquid I just use my hand 1qt hand pump sprayer. Exact same results for hundreds less. I ain't knocking it, we all love new tools. I just don't see spending on over inflated tool prices. Great videos by the way.
If you’ve never tried one I recommend the rag company air blow gun. It’s under $50. I promise if you haven’t tried these vortex style tools you’ll be in for a treat.
@@StaySlick I have the vortex air gun and the vortex air gun with the canister in my amazon cart. I came to youtube to see what all the hype is. So I'm on the fence right now. Like I said I love new toys so i might just pull that trigger right after I find some good nasty carpenter pickup truck carpet and upholstery cleaner for one of those carpet extractors I'm also on the fence about. The sprays under the head or into the head version like the in the head Streamliner extractor. Any insight you wanna share with me?
Mine quit after about a year I used it maybe a dozen times for small issues. mainly washing out the lawn mower deck. Total waste of money and oh yea home depot wont do a thing even though they say it has a 3 yr warranty.
The ryobi sucks spend 350 get something nice. I went through 9 tho or cheap washers In 3 years of actual hard detailing Very annoying and they break down usually 3-6 months
do you find when drying a car with ceramic spray as your aid that your drying towels get degraded due to the product gunking it up? I find that even after washing the towels in warm water with a dedicated microfiber wash like rags to riches my towel will streak next time I use it, almost like the spray wax is still in the fibers
Great job. Is the 3500 predator really necessary if running 1 device at a time? I run an active 2.0 on a 2500w generac and was curious if I need to step it up to 3500w or so. Thanks
Have you used Dreadnought Triple Layer Microfiber and/or Rapid Dry 2.0 Towel ? If so, how does it compare to Maxshine 1200gsm twisted loop? Thank you, really enjoy your reviews and many helps.
I've got a question for you brother. Thinking about starting a trash can (residential ) cleaning business. Im looking for a gravity fed or siphon system, i have an inverter and a generator as a back up. What pressure washer would you recommend ? I already have a gas 5 gpm but looking for something electric, as batteries just dont last. Would like 100 gallon tank
What's up my boy?! Love your content and would love to know what you pay for your tank and how many gallons you estimate between switching out tanks . Thank you sir!
