Great video Ksenila, just one point from my hiking experience if I may. If you use your bladder for holding unfiltered water, remember to wash it and the tube out and sterilise them before using it with fresh water as nasties my still be lurking. I always keep one collapsable bottle for 'dirty water' prior to filter.
No, it was built in the 1960's. I could see the distant progress as I attended UBC. Before that, you needed to take a ferry to get to Britannia Beach or Squamish.
You have my utter respect for tackling those switchbacks solo....but glad to see that Garmin InReach...within reach! I've toured BC, WA, Oregon and Idaho but with my paved road preferred RS. You take us to beautiful dirt routes! Bravo!
That was a bit distressing Kseniia. Too many adverse conditions for you today, lack of sleep, ferry ride, no correct food, dehydration, strange surroundings, etc. A very challenging situation for anyone. Very happy that you bounced back quickly. To be alone and sick is terrifying. Please be careful and stay well. 😀😀

Ksenia, I am happy for you that you get to spend some time at an ashram ,I have done that, and it has been some of the most essential times in my whole life, it's great that you were able to give you that gift to your true self peace!
