I have deleted all movies except for the Amerika miniseries. You still can find some movies in my other channels tinsta156 and biggieKKfan. Sorry about it, but I have been punished with two strikes within a couple of weeks only for movies that aren't in the stores anymore and seemed to have been forgotten anyway by the copyright owners for years or decades. It was the Knights movie and Two for Texas, what a shame!!!
I love the way they used to record with simple instrumentation because they knew what was important was the lyrics. I bet this was done on a 16 track with a few tracks left to spare. these recordings today sound like they use 96 tracks, doubling and tripling every instrument and vocal. and Auto tune 😖
I have always ranked Ks own version over all the others including J. Cash. When listened today again a few times in my headphone i must say thet the harmony is a B A N G E R. Who is the singer?
Charity begins at home but its not much of a sacrifice when your so busy dividing the wealth to call your friend Johnny and lose those free loaders hanging about ruing your l8ves
Criss is so beautful here.oddly always they say he is. A great hummanitarian and humanist. Boggarted lines I hear. Great inventor and collage maker. See david allan coe regarding freedom . Doesnt matter and nobody minds a creative creation utilizing all thats around. Be well criss.thank you.
Thankful I was able to see them Live in Austin, TX 1990 and Waylon was wearing a Grateful Dead T-Shirt….David Allan Coe made an appearance too. Must have been Willie’s picnic.
A few years ago ,at our music jam in Florida ,Pat did this song. We are usually a very lively group of older players. I believe everyone in the group was deeply touched. I was choked up and still -listening it today I remember it. Thanks Kris, thanks Pat.
Like this song much better slowed down a beat. Most recordings I find are too fast. Absolutely one of my absolute favorites to play fireside or front porch in the rain with friends. Usually Sunday morning's after, back in our 20s. Back when we could physically accomplish such a thing as drinking all night 😂
Kris and Johnny Cash and the BOYS would be PARTYING and Kris would right lyrics down on napkins and either forget'em or whatever and cause I'm sure he knew how blessed Kris was at writing! and Johnny would grab'em and put'em in his Safe
Beautiful song. Lovely rendition. I have to say I first heard this song as a kid as the Ray Price version. I, of course, didn't fully appreciate it until later. All those years later, it's all the deeper in it's meaning. A real masterpiece.
