I was working on board the cruise/liner ship HRMS QUEEN ELIZABETH 2 when he was the main entertainer for a night. This CD (3WW) was being sold , i was able to buy 1. Next day we ran aground when the ship was on the way to New York. Kris (and Danny Timms, they were the only performers on the stage of the grand lounge) was transported to Martha's Vineyard. Never in my lifetime i dreamed of watching him live for free, earning a little on the side! Thanks for sharing this.
Kris challenges people who claim to be Christians to actually live their faith. The words of Timothy are quite clear and inconvenient to face. I'm sure many people were not aware that we were training and arming the Contras in Nicaragua, had no interest in being aware of anything which might trouble their consciences, and did not know the economic reasons behind our government's support, including the powerful lobbying of Congress by United Fruit and the major coffee growers. They did not want their "peasants" to form agricultural cooperatives or get land.
