👋🏿🫶🏿 Two minutes of research 😂 I think one year I did one book July on discs. I am in a state of chaos and overwhelmed. I kinda want to damn everything in one book yet not.
Was just wondering how you are doing this week and just saw this video pop up. Your lightness to your voice in this video is just inspiring after what you've gone thorough. I hope you have a smooth recovery.
Our oldest has been begging my hubby and I to watch Schitt’s Creek. His name is David, so everything Christina says his name in the same tone as Alexis, they get sad that it’s going over our head. We need a new comedy. Maybe it’s finally time.
I agree with others that you are amazing, and it's good to "see" you. Im so glad to hear thst you are prioritizing your self care and health l. 🩷🩷🩷🩷 I haven't yet participated in one book July, but im thinykimg of using it as an opportunity to get back into my Cousin. I hsvent been feeling planner motivated lately, and then I i feel sad that I haven't documented anything.
Now I’m influenced to try just one planner! 😮 The shock of it to my system, oh my! Can you tell me about the markers in your pen case please? Always curious about writing utensils. 😊 oohhh and also the pen case please.
So glad you are back. I would check to see if you posted and am happy to see you are on recovery road. I pray it goes smoothly and you heal quickly. As for your empty pages, I too was out of my book last year due to surgery and when I look back on those empty pages I think, it's a good thing they are empty, I was concentrated on my healing. Empty pages can be a good thing too. Continue to take good care of yourself and good to see you back.
I didn’t know about this planner but since I missed most of the year in my planner this year, guilt free entries/missed entries sounds good right now. Thank you and so glad you’re back and on the mend.💝
I currently only use one book. But as a Program Specialist at a library June and July are my two busiest months and it was a struggle to keep up with my planner in June because there were so many things happening every single day and I didn't prioritize a while lot outside of work. So I think for July I might switch to my junk journal/watercolor book so that I can have some personal, nothing to do with work, creative time and just play with things with less pressure.... so it's different book July for me!
Candy Corn is delicious! We have a family rule, “Don’t yuck my yum.” I wish the world followed that rule. It applies to candy corn, planner choices…basically everything.
I saw Hamilton! Thought of you the entire time! 😂 I hope you weren’t like the girl in front of me. She was so animated I got motion sickness trying to see around her. 🤣
Welcome back!! Wishing you a speedy recovery. I missed your videos. I am also doing One book July in my. Common A5 Planner. I hope I can stay with it the full month..lol
The person that created one book July is Rhomany from Rhomany’s Realm here on RU-vid. This is the 11th year. Each year they have different areas and goals so there are so many that you can choose. Get it to fit your needs. The first one, 11 years ago was 1 book, 1 pen, and 1 highlighter. Now with so many people bullet journaling 1 book isn’t necessarily an odd thing.
I didn’t even know about one book July but yes I am doing it because I do one book every month! 😂 I’ve been out of the loop for some time and have clearly missed some things. I’m so sorry about Bruiser. And I hope you have a speedy recovery from your surgery.
Have missed you so much Julie! Wishing you all the best for happiness, health, and recovery! We love you! I used an undated B6 Sterling Ink planner last year and it didn't end up working out for me! The undated pages were ultimately my downfall. With great flexibility comes great indecision!!! 🤣 On days that I didn't feel like writing, I felt that I had to allocate space in case I did ever want to go back. But how much space? Then the days would add up and eventually I stopped journalling altogether! This year, I've found that dated pages really allow me that space to write (or not write) without worrying about not being able to back journal. I now have two A6 Hobonichi planners and a Hobonichi Weeks and have seemed to just hit my groove, so I won't be joining in on the one book July challenge, but I love seeing how everyone else plans to do it! <3
Hearing your voice makes my day! I’m sending up prayers and I always wish you well. HABITS…okay I thought it said Rabbits. I was wondering what kind of treatment they had you following! 😂
This has inspired me to do this for my upcoming school year. I'm an elementary art teacher, and I love planners/planbooks. Over the last 4 years I have jumped into new planbooks mid school year. Lol Once I start in one planbook, a different planbook looks shiny and new to me. So this year, I'm going to try my very best to stick to the planbook I chose for this upcoming school year and I'll ONLY switch to something different /new if my current planner is not working out. All rambling aside, thanks for sharing!!
Good to hear from you but obviously you are not obligated to fill us in. Many of us are thinking of you and hoping for the best for you! Less importantly, as someone juggling multiple planners always (just have analysis paralysis! and am a maximizer), I did One Book July years ago with A5 rings and it totally suited all of my needs. May have been so many years ago it was before I fell hard for the Tomhoe River Paper, which is now very difficult for me to ever consider not using. All this said, I am doing a "2 book July" (still a reduction in the # of planners I have) but using a B6 bound Wonderland222 and then a 6-month Daily Duo from EC. Already missing rings (it is July 1!), but seriously hoping this month can have me reflect on what my real deal is and what could work for 2025. Good luck to all of us giving this a whirl! Take good care of yourself!
Nothing like a fresh planner start mid year! I have rings and a cousin but I only really plan in my sterling ink TN Common Planner….. so I’m calling that a win as in… Im probably breaking the rules haha. It was so nice to see you pop back up on the feed, may you have peace and comfort in the continuing of your healing journey. ❤
I started in the Sterling Ink A5 Common Planner in February. I've got the version that's split into two books, so I was so excited to start the 2nd book today so I can use the whole book from the beginning. I absolutely love the neutral colored pages. I hope you end up loving yours as much as I've been loving mine!
Love this! I kind of just downsized to one book as well, even before I knew about one book July. I’m now in a Hobonichi A6 avec with the weekly supplement tucked into the same cover. That counts as one book, right? 😂 I’m loving it so far! I use my planner pretty functionally for planning, so each day has a personal task list and a work task list and I roll incomplete tasks over to the next day. I have a Sterling Ink grid notebook for my separate journal, so I don’t need as much room in my planner.
🙏🏾…during your recovery I’m already in one book…B6 Aura Estelle it’s not the catch all but it’s the one that has the month followed by two blank pages an the the week none page-horizontally and then seven daily pages. This is what sold me. I had a LD horizontal the first half the year and just decided I wanted to downsize so I can carry my planner everywhere I go. I’m just working on how I can incorporate my life into this size. So far so good…but school and work start back next month so we shall see. 🤞🏾 Loved your video❤
Great info and video. I love a commonplace journal/planner. My needs are simple and I love the just “turn the page aspect”. I use a bound journal or a Stalogy. Blessings to you and your continued recovery. You are an inspiration for many reasons. ✝️💜
